Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

I don't know which would be scarrier, living in Ca. or living where you are now with the tornadoes and all that crap. But you must enjoy it? I know you have great weather most of the time.

I live 5 miles from Irvine nothing ever happens in the OC

I figure as soon as I go out and buy another 1,,,I will find at least 2 of them

something about 16mm I had to buy a new one the last time I needed one.
I keep my tool box locked and no one borrows any tools

the last time I lent a snap-on socket wrench to my brother (at least 30 years ago) I never got it back. He claims I never lent it to him. Never lent out any since, and they still go missing and I always put them back.
If someone wants a tool I say come on I'll drive you to the store to buy one

alright... I got the bike put together, and now realize very few people will need to be concerned that it's too small. I have a 34 inseam and can barely get on the seat because it's so tall. There are 2 bike shops within 1/2 mile of my house. I will take the bike to one of the shops tomorrow for adjustments and see about buying a shorter post for the seat.

you can put the seat all the way down
post a pic there must be something wrong

1st tighten the center allen screw in the stem
then tighten the 2 allen screws on the right side of the colar
that is right below the center screw and on the right side

2 screws verticle to the stem
here they are

wow,,,that is out in the boonies,,,there are a couple of people that have name brand tools at the flea market,,,I have almost all craftsman and when I need to replace 1 that got lost I go there,,,then I find them later,,,I should go there and sell some of the ones I have extra of
See what I mean about distance perceptions? 15 miles isn't that much at all. Then again, my 15 miles consists about 10 lights, most at the end, and speeds of up to 65 without jumping on a freeway. That 15 min takes 20min to travel, not 30-100 like in the Bay Area.

The water bottle mount protrudes through the upright post not allowing the seat post to go all the way down..Simply cut the seat post shorter.

Deb, this is exactly the problem, and also what I think is the solution. The seat is at least 2-3 inches too high for my 34 inch inseam.
