Coach- we opened your package at bedtime last night and it is so great!! I love the best the tiny "shoes", my DD loves the socks and DH loves the little sweat pants! Everything is wonderful and I have no idea how you have stockpiled so much little boy stuff!!! Thank you!! I hope your package arrives OK.

I GOT IT!!! and you ROCK!! Thank you so very much!! The diaper cream is awesome! And love the bath stuff- the lavender bedtime wash and cream are my favorite! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! We are goingt o use the sign dvd's- Jason already signs a dozen words (his favs being airplane and dog)

As for the boy stuff, I LOVE shopping for it, and can't pass up a deal, even when I know I won't use it! I figure if I won't, I know so many moms, someone will need it! Big Grin

AND- for the wonderful people who sent the wipes, crib sheet (girlie lavender!) and bedtime cream- I FREAKING LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH!! This is better than Christmas!! I LOVE the smell of the lavender bedtime cream, and I lubed the baby up after his bath last night, and just kept sniffing his head and chest. Ahhhhh....it is soooo good!!! This is the absolute BEST shower ever! LOOOOOOVE YOU ALLLLL!!!

I haven't said this yet but DS and GF bought a marriage lisense on Monday. Have very mixed feelings about it. They are already living together which I don't exactly believe in but have been ok with. GF started working and this is what they did with the first pay check. They are planning on going to the justice of the peace on March 28 and then having a reception of sorts on a different day. They are planning it and it will be very simple. It has to be since they have little money. What I am having a hard time with is pictuing what this all looks like in my head. Her parents can't even be there since they have a restaining order out against my DS. They should be at her wedding. Then there is my DH. Will he be there? Do I want him there? Will he even be invited there?
Then there is the whole thing of how will this affect his services and SSI? I have no idea. We might be back to square one. Frown and there is the court thing. How will this affect that? When they say he is married will the jury think that he is not on the autism spectum and just faking it? So much to think about. My mind is so heavy.

i can only imagine all these thoughts in your head. you have to know though, that YOU did a great job raising him. He is a grown man now and has to make his decisions. thoughts like this will always be in your mind for him, but essentially, they will have to deal with all of it. hug hug hug

ok hun that sounds like a load of stress, and i wish i could help you sort through it all. the one thing I do know is that at least here in cali, her parents could go. He is not allowed to go near them, but as far as things like his place of work and his home, and his wedding, its up to them to stay away if they choose, but if they want to be there they can providing he allows it. As far as SSI, I think that he should get more $ since he now has a "dependant" so that may work out for him. As far as the court thing, is this all still about the gf? Because if they get married, i think there is no case anymoreSmilie

Will be in DM on Monday but ONLY at the tourney and drive back home with a carfull. If they win on Monday, we will be back on Thursday,stay the night and if they win Thursday stay Friday night too. If they lose Thursday, home Friday night. I will not likely have our van though so will not have too much control over where we are when. DH will be there too. Hope to do some shopping on Friday but all depends on the win. Don't plan around us. You go shop and get those deals since I won't be able too!!! laugh out loud I just figured I would throw it out there in case anyone else's team was there.

hug Thanks, I know he will make those decisions but the issue comes in that he really never will be a "grown man" but a teen in a grown body. I will always be helping with the ramifications to come. I will do it though. I just hate the crap I get about it (from DH) and things have been calmer and I have enjoyed that.

Actually I don't think they would go anyways. If they did I would worry about what would happen. DS might now be able to handle it if they started something and he would end up arrested for "threatening" them or something. no, the court things is still the hit and run from last May. He hit with his car the kid that was threatening him and walked out in the road ahead of him. The kid scraped his elbow ( no dr or anything) and him and his friend went after DS so DS high tailed it out of there. Frown I think I would have too. Anyways, since the kid was "injured" it makes it a felony hit and run. The same as if he had killed the kid. rediculous.
DS has made great progress since due to counseling and med changes. Hopefullly he doesn't end up with a felony on his record.

How do you and his gf get along? What if you sat down and told her all of these things? You have worked so hard to get his benefits, it would be horrible to have them taken away.

I have a dentist apt in an hr. Im scared out of my mind. My last dentist apt was over 8 years ago, and the A$$hat was just that, he hurt me and scared me so bad im soo afraid of going back im almost in tearsFrown Its a new dentist, but for some reason i feel like a 5 yr old who knows they are getting shots.

I am so sorry you are scared! You are not alone though. I am terrified of the dentist and well doctors in general. You will be okay. Just try to stay calm. Do you have one of those squeeze stress balls or anything like that? You could take that to take your mind off of it. Maybe take a ipod or something to calm yourself. Good luck hug
