Did yall ever hear that if you give a seagull an alka-seltzer, it would pop, because they can't burp. I heard that when I was a kid and it was a little traumatizing. Who would want to kill a seagull.

no time to catch up since off to work again. DH cousin died and the funeral is tomorrow so no DM for us unless they win tomorrow. Will see what happens with the weather too.

So yesterday we started the long journey of looking for a house! Our house that we are renting has become to small and it will cost a fortune to finish the basement because the house is old and the plumbing and electrical will need to be redone. Also, our house is in a really expensive neighborhood so we can get a MUCH bigger house if we let go of living in the area. We found a really great neighborhood directly behind my DH's office that we could get a house 3 times the size of our house for the same money and my husband could walk to work and come home for lunch. It would mean a little more driving or me to go to our usually places but only like 10 minutes. We found one house that is directly across from a park but it needs basic updating to the cabinets and the owner loves tacky wallpaper! We got a agent last night so we will start looking seriously next week when we see how much my dh's bonus turns out to be. Hopefully the right house will "speak" to us and it won't be that hard.

Just had an amazing visit with the Wexie family! Her kids are so adorable and showed such great manners (especially next to my little animals) The funny thing is, our husbands hit it off so well, they talked non-stop for more than 3 hours! She noticed my SF book collection, I showed her one of my stockpile closets and the dipes in baby's room!

I woke up this morning and had 32 emails from Amazon in my inbox. Wholly shenanigans, batman! :r oll: Never made it to Target or Publix this week, but I should be getting boxes everyday from UPS. Now if only I could buy milk online at the baby store!

Oh yeah, and I'm sitting here doing some more tonight. : evil:

Happy Saturday night! Sitting here waiting for my DD to get home from her "boyfriend's" house. She has to be home by 11:30, so we will see if she makes it on time! A little grounding might have to happen : )

Started the day by just noticing that my coffee pot was gone...DH said that it was gross and he couldn't get it "clean", so he threw it away. It was just "seasoned"! So, I was a bad SD person and just went out and bought a $30 one with no coupons. What joy I will have tomorrow when the coffee is done when I get up! I have never had a "delayed" coffee pot. Let's see if it works! It could become addicting I think!

A grounding it will be...11:53 and still no kiddo! "she is on her way"...that just doesn't count in my book!

So I kinda took it easy today. Spent the morning in bed, reading, checking the internet, ect. It was nice! The kids came into our room and we all hung out together in there! Alexa gave me a pedicure bc I can't reach my toes anymore That was really sweet, bc I think they needed it!
Then J and I went out to do errands. I sat in the van while he went to his hour long Kenpo class. Not bad though, I got to chat with friends, read some SD, and play Words with Friends (freaking LOVE that games!!!). Then we went to Target, a sports store, Costco and SW. At T, I loaded up the cart and got the q's all in order, then went out to the car. J used everything just fine and now has a visual for the things he will be buying next weekend when I send him alone! : evillaf: Costco was nice, bc even though it was crazy busy, we got to cash in our cashback check from our card there! LOVE this time of year! Did some more frozen food deals at SW and then came home.
J was totally sweet the whole time we were out. He did the q's for me at T and then he complimented me immensely (stating that I still turned him on, even though I feel huge and horrible), and finally, he went got a whole tearpad of good q's that someone had dropped onto the floor. I decided that they needed to come home with us, but I would not have been able to get them off the floor in SW without drawing attn, where he was able to do it unnoticed. I told him how much I appreciated all the things he did today!
Then we came home and did a family game night, and I always enjoy those.
Some of the bad things from today were that Sophia was VERY naughty while J and I were out doing errands alone. She called her sister a bad word and then decided to give herself a haircut with SHARP kitchen shears. : doh: I think the hair cut is ok, mostly looks like it is supposed to be there and luckily her long hair covers the one obv. spot and thankfully she did not cut herself with the Cutco kitchen shears. I guess one of the guys left the scissors out and she was able to reach them. The bad word is on me. She said she used it bc its a word mommy uses Yes, I guess I will be stopping that horrible habit! She is really acting out lately and NOTHING is working with her. I have done spanking, time outs and taking away things (no tv time today, no going to the play ground, ect) and I am kinda at my wits end and not sure what to do. I know she is going through a lot of life changes (daddy was always home with her for as long as she can remember and now he is not. Plus the new baby), but its still hard.
Another thing that was upsetting to me today is J wants to add in 2 more days of Kenpo class to his schedule. He asked me, so we could make this decision together, but I am very torn. He is already going 3 days a week. Only an hour a day, but he is gone soo much for work as it is. Also we are about to have another baby, and I will need him and the break. We didn't fight about it, but I did tell him I thought it was selfish of him to ask such a thing right now. He said he didn't think it was selfish, that he was just trying to take care of himself and his well being, but I don't see it that way. I mean I am not asking him to give up the 3 days he already does, I just don't want him to add 2 more in. I said I would like to think about it more before any decisions were made and he was okay with that.

Anyways, that is probably the most I have types on here in ages (and more than you wanted to know) but that was my life today!

Kootzie, where do I find this? Just scoured my paper for you. We only got a smartsource and it's not in there. Tell me where to find it and if I do, I'm happy to get some more papers for you today. The babe and I need a field trip (plus I really want to find more amazon codes!)

Take a lesson from my parents and buy an old timey alarm clock that goes clang-clang when it goes off and set it in an aluminum wash pan. Set it for the time she is supposed to be home and you go to bed. If she turns it off (R U N N I N G for the clock) you still get to sleep peacefully. If not, then you get woke up and get to be there when she gets back in.

I have 3 other friends whose mom's all did this too. I've never been late

It a BOGO for Cesar dog food. So far the only thing the furgirl will eat. Cesar Sunrise...With Smoked Bacon & Egg

I was able to get some of those q's at Publix and use them at T today...
