And the Ship 30 does work with the 30 off. So that's a plus. I'm not sure exactly what I will get. I imagine it will be 8x10's or larger, but who knows.

Is part of the risk because of the brain surgery or just the uterus tearing? I had a vbac with Katie and it was fine but I didn't have risk other than the pregnancy stuff. I see you talked to your dr and feel better. I would agree that they have anesthetists that can be there within minutes.
Thanks dear! hug

Its both. My one dr was ok with me trying a vbac, but he explained all the complications and things that could go wrong and also said I would have to be ok'd from my neurosurgeon before they would let me try it. When we heard some of the complications and things that could go wrong, it was enough for us to just decide to do the C section again. I was surprised that that was J's first response. He didn't want me or the baby at risk at all, so he would rather just do the planned C section (I totally thought he would really push for me to try the vbac). My other dr (the reg one who I am more comfortable with) didn't think I should even try a vbac, he is not pro C sections like some docs (esp bc he can't do them himself), but he thought the risks were too much with my medical history.

So glad you feel good about it. I would too.

I have my glucose screening test at the docs tomorrow. Anyone who's up for a little praying, I'd really love to pass this so I don't have to take a day off to do the 3-hour one (or worse yet, fail that one too!).

I finally totaled up my diaper stock against the list posted earlier, and I'm still short. Gotta find some new storage places and start trading for codes. Anyone have YJ's you want to trade? I still need to get size 5's and 6's in mass quantity. We were planning to put up a swingset for DD this summer. Maybe it would be equally cool to build her a giant fort of dipes. Big Grin I mean, since it doesn't rain her in WA or anything. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
Thanks dear! hug

I will keep you in my Pray about the glucose test!

I ran out of closet space, and Shawn just started stacking the boxes against a wall in his room! EEK! I feel horrible about it, but he says not to, he doesn't care in the least. I bought bins and was gonna use them for the diapers, but he said that was silly, that the stacking of boxes works just fine and to use the bins for wipes.

Maybe it is because I have gotten so many things from SF over the years, or maybe it is because they have decreased their offerings, but it is really hard to figure out what I want to spend free money on.

There are also codes in emails for 20% off books expiring today

I have to agree that Shutterfly has limited goodies.

One of the things that I liked about Kodak and Snap was the more fun things to be made

Ariel- I am in the same boat as you are. I will have a scheduled c-section but my DD was 3 weeks early and I don't think they will schedule one for that early. I am going to talk to them next week at my appointment. I doubt that I will make it to my due date.

house hunting update- We picked an agent last night. He is really cool and is a friend of the family so that is a plus and he seems to really know what he is doing. We have toured two houses and they both have pros and cons. The first house has been completely remodeled and it is gorgeous! They really spent $ on it and it shows. The owners are Italian and it has arches and a gourmet kitchen and a area for a home theater in the basement. BUT the neighborhood is not as nice as the 2nd and the agent said that the other house would sell faster if we needed to sell. 2nd house is across the street from a great park!!! The problem with the inside is the person living in it has no taste and loves ugly wallpaper!!! It needs alot of cosmetic work but is the better investment. Our agent also told us what he thought our rental is worth and it is alot less that the landlord wants for it because he has so much $ invested in it already. My dh talked to my cousins husband who is a mortgage broker and got some financial limits for us and it looks like we are in good shape with the budget that we thought.

I'm glad you have your c-sect scheduled and are comfortable with it.
I know I'm in the minority here, but after long long labor with Lauren and then finally having a c-sect and then having a planned c-sect with John (scheduled for 2 days after his due date lol) I would take a planned c-sect anyday over labor. Yeah I know there is more risk, and the pain the first day after it is killer, but you know there is an end in sight. With labor, that pain is killer too and you never know when it's going to end. John's planned c-sect was such a wonderful experience even with getting a tubal at the same time. As long as you force yourself to get up and walk after the c-sect (which I admit is very difficult) within a day or 2 you will be doing pretty good. Walk walk walk is the key to a faster recovery and feeling yourself again. (less gas pains too)

p.s. the reason Johns c-sect was scheduled for 2 days after his due date was because the other opening for surgery was halloween and I didn't want him to have a halloween birthday so I chose Nov 2nd. The dr said it was ok because I was so very late with Lauren so the odds were good I would be late with John and he was right. The other odd thing about me and being pregnant was I was never in a hurry to get the babies out. I liked having them to myself and with both of them after they were born I felt kind of lonely or I guess empty.

Yeah I had some comps with Soph's C section, but I was still in the hospital less time with her than I was with Alexa's vaginal delivery. My complications with the first c section were due to the meds they gave me. I am severely allergic to codeine and all its derivatives. I had Soph a Kaiser and they don't go far from their 'track care' (if this happens, do this). So anyways, the anesthesiologist was like we are using Morphine (related to codeine) and I told him I was allergic and his response was, well your not really allergic to Morphine, just codeine and this is what we use. I was just tired and figured if I was gonna have a bad reaction, a hospital was the place to have it in! nod laugh out loud Well I had such bad nausea and vomiting for days afterward. The other thing that happened, is I am VERY allergic to tape. I told them this and they gave me paper tape thinking it would be better. Said I needed to have some sort of tape of my incision. Well I ended up with HUGE welts and blisters from the tape surrounding my incision. They got all gross and I had to go to the ER for treatment of them.
I have already talked to my dr about the medication issues. He said he would use Fentanyl instead of the morphine and hopefully that would cut out the nausea and vomiting issue. As for the tape, I am not sure what we will do about that yet, but worst case, I know how to treat the blisters now, and won't need to go to the ER again laugh out loud

Wow it's weird, I found out I was alergic to codeine while recovering with Lauren. It made me want to scratch my face off. Also, I had an alergic reaction to the epidural while delivering her. I felt like my head was going to pop off my body and my face got all red, but they just gave me a shot right away and it was ok. I reminded them of both of these things before having John and I didn't have any problems at all. After having Lauren I became allergic to penicillin too so now I don't take hardly anything as far as meds. Whenever I get a prescription I question the pharmacist up and down and I'll even go home and call a different pharmacy and ask the same questions to make sure I'm getting correct info. Once I had a dr prescribe me erythomycin and at the time I had xanax that I took occasionally. He had given me seldane samples in his office. I was worried about taking xanax and seldane together so I asked the phamracist and he was like wait a second, where did you get seldane (I wasn't at all worried about the antibiotic silly me) and he was panicked and I started crying because he was making me nervous, apparently you can't take seldane and erythomycin together because it can make your heart stop and I already had mvp and he called the dr all pissed off. So now I question everything up and down until they hate me and I don't care. But mostly I avoid taking any medication unless I absolutly have to.

I have this unique talent of being able to split my vision which makes looking at those 3d hidden images very easy for me.

If anyone else has a similar talent, I'm making a 2 photo side-by-side collage that is basically a similar effect and I was curious if yall wanted to give me feed back. It's just pine cones, but one's in black and white, and the other in color.

Pine cones are very boring and very drab shade of brown... which is why I think the B&W works better, but again... don't mind feedback.
