I'm glad to hear he likes it. It's a shame that I see the price $3500 and I think that he got a good price for it. But it is a good price...

Not that anyone was waiting with baited breath, but I did receive the rebate from Sony for my TV. So I did wind up paying 4 or 5 hundred bucks for a 55 inch 3d LED tv... so that is pretty dang awesome.

I like the D7000. I'm a canon guy, but I do like the 7000 over the 60d and 7d... but I don't have any intention of every switching over to Nikon.

And one small point... I'm growing tired of the words with friends, which is why I'm not responding as quickly as I have before... but I'm still playing... just slower...
Yeah it was sad that $3500 was a good price for he bed, foundation, frame, sheets and 2 pillows, but so worth it now!

That is an AMAZING price for your TV!!! worship

I go through stages with WwF, (just like all things) sometimes I want to play it all the time and then others I don't want to play at all. Right now I am on a baby craft kick, but I try to check into my games at least 1 time a day. Dontknow That is the good thing about games on the phone, you can pick it up when you want to and ignore it when you don't want to do it! laugh out loud

The most time I have spent on a Temperpedic at one time is about 15 minutes. Napping at work isn't encouraged. I don't mind the Cloud Supreme, but I do mind the price. I had a buddy buy one down in Maryland and he loves it. I told he he should have talked to me about it first because I could have gotten him his at half price (because of my employee discount), and he said that the guy told him he couldn't find it at a lower price. That was true, BUT employees still have an applicable discount so he could have save 2 to 3 grand on it depending upon what he got.

I don't know why any of my friends and family don't consult with me before they make any major purchases. It just seems silly.

I love the Novaform from Costco. They have a 2' by 2' square that you can feel to see if you like it or not... don't try it. What you are doing is you are putting 100% of your weight on a 2' by 2' area when in actuality when you sleep, your weight is going to be distributed over a 6' by 3' area. So if you do some simple math -

150lbs (just as an example)/4 square ft = 42 lbs per square foot
v.
150lbs/ 18 square ft = 8 lbs per square foot.

So the example at Costo is just going to crumple under the pressure.

I think I have seriously digressed, but this is good information anyway.

Is anyone in the market for a new DSLR? The reason I bring it up is that several of the entry level line for canon and Nikon are being discontinued, but they are still good cameras. So I see a ton of deals and I'm just curious if I should let any of yall know.
I have wondered how the tempur the costco one and the W bed all compare side by side. I need a new bed but the reviews are all. over. the. place. so IDK. Not that we can afford one right now anyway lol

Was there a crazy good deal on the 7000? My next step up will be into the t3i.

A few days ago some one came into hh looking at the 60d and I was trying to find him a deal online so we could price match and then I'd buy the lens off him because he was only interested in the body.

Despite all of my efforts, I only found one lower price... 2 dollars lower. So my dreams of upgrading to a decent walking around lens were dashed.

This isn't directed solely towards you, but one thing to note about memory foam beds is they are a bit limiting regarding the types of positions you can be comfortable... and I'm not talking about sleep positions.

So if you customarily go around the world on a Friday night, you may want to get a hotel room with a similar bed.

Not really, I paid $1200 from Amazon for it. Body only. I was aiming to get it before his Bday, so I didn't shop around for the best deal Hide Bad I know! EEK!

That too seems quite reasonable. Though if you asked me 8 years ago what would be the most I would ever be willing to spend on a camera, I doubt I would have considered anything in the four digit range reasonable.

laugh out loud I know, right!?!

I did look around and found it for between $1200 and $1500 depending where you buy, but I know that soon a smoking deal will come along and I will kick myself for not waiting. Oh well, sometimes the special ppl in our lives are worth it! heart

I don't think you will see any deals below 1100. There may new lens packages where you get both the body and a lens, but I wouldn't expect that until around Christmas time.

Shocking I would ask you to explain but I'm too afraid of the answer.

So the Kings Speech was rated R? Because apparently it's now rated Pg-13 on video. I will say that I am 100% ok with a 2nd audio track where the naughty words are bleeped out, but I'm curious if the rated R vesion of the movie was just a sex romp.

Colin Firth swinging from side to side with him and Geoffrey Rush double teaming the queen. Firth stuttering throughout the seen, Sspssppsppank mmmmeme harder! I'm guessing that scene would be cut... if indeed it was in the movie.

I will also say that as long as the pg-13 version is sold with the rated R version, I don't mind as much. But I REALLY want the Pg-13 version to be evaluated along with the rest of the movies that were nominated for the Best picture award and I wonder if it would come out the winner. I'm guessing no.

I hope the director and screen writer were ok with this, otherwise it does offend my senses.
If the Kings Speech was rated R (...and I've seen it twice), it can only be for the short bursts in the movie when Colin repeats F _ _ _ as he struggles through practice sessions with Geoffrey.

I need some advice on ordering diapers from amazon. I am going to do a one time order for a friend's new baby girl. From my Parenting magazine and a friend I have a $10 off coupon and 20% off diapers coupon. I was told I should join the "Subscribe and Save" on amazon to save even more on this order. I don't know if I am reading amazon's notes incorrectly, but I believe what I see is that if I place this order, I will automatically have it shipped (and billed) to me again. Is that correct? If it is, then I would not use the "Subscribe and Save."

Also, does anyone keep in contact with writetokar (Krishna)? Before Christmas when I renewed the Amazon prime I have with Denise and a friend of hers, Krishna asked to continue her portion of our prime account. I did that for her, but need yet to connect with her about her portion of the payment.

Thanks for any help you can provide!
