Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Gary--No problem, my friend....I appreciate the effort you and all the folks here on the FF put into helping others find freebies, IWG's, and bargains...

Actually, the 'controversy' could have been avoided if anyone who suspected the link had PM'd you and given you a chance to research and verify the freebie---That would have allowed you to do a follow-up post with the info you found---

Hell, if the worse thing that happens is a little spam in my Junk e-mail address or a few more pieces of USPS junk snail-mail to recycle, then I'm having a great daybounce

If the junk-mail has a pre-paid envelope, I simply insert a card with my ex- mother-in-law's address and phone number asking for more infoBig Grin

my neighbor puts all the drop out post cards in the tv guide and magazines in the mail box

Im needing some ideas. I have alot of dust in my house from having 3 dogs and 3 cats and a 70 year old house. It gets in all my electronics and clogs the fans needed to cool them from overheating. I have a usb powered air purifier and I use a can of compressed air every few days to blow the dust out through the vent holes. Compressed air is too expensive. Is there some other way I can do this??? Maybe a small hand held type air compressor only not as powerful as the shop variety??? Thanks
Have you tried vacuuming it out with one of those hand vacs? Open up your tower now and then and vacuum inside and all around the fan if possible.

I just do not like the thought that this guy is scaming us and making money doing so, Gary had no idea this was a scam thing -- this person is using google adsence , when people are going to his site he makes money.
I agree 100%---Hopefully Google's small profit base will increase so that they can afford to hire a team to more closely monitor websites using their Click-Pay services...Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Google may lose money on these scams, but their true customers (the average Google Search Engine user) loses both privacy and partial identity.

Thanks, jawartman, for the heads-up on the issues with this t-shirt offer....

Thanks. Id like something a little more portable plus my vacuum only sucks so either way I will have to buy something

there are little portable computer and electronic vacuums that can be used to blow or vacuum out the pc but they are ususally expensive

tiger direct has a cheap one:

Kinda leary about using a vaccume since alot of electronics can become demagnetized and I would have to get the tool right on the parts to suck up the dust. I want to blow it out and then vacuum it up

You have to be careful vacuuming a computer, as most vacuums build up a static charge, which is NOT good for electronics.

If nothing else, buy an air tank, and fill it at the local gas station. A small 5 gallon tank should be good for a few blowouts.

I use a portable air compressor myself, and use an airgun with a small enough tip that I can put it between the fan blades to hold them still while blowing out the innards.

For a full cleaning, you really have to open it up and use compressed air.

my pc is next to a window so I put a fan in the window blowing out when I dust the pc out.

most of the dust gets blown right out of the house

That might just work. Would like something cheaper but its better than spending a fortune on the canned stuff. Canned air!!!! Almost as bad as bottled water!!! LMAOLMAO next they will have a jar of sunshine!!!
