May 1, 2011, 3:13 am: System Notice: This thread content has been automatically archived from another thread which reached post limit, and will be preserved for reference and archival purposes. The discussion should continue in the original thread

Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

My cousin stores his air compressor in our garage and I've been tempted but its way too big to store in the house and I have around 20 pieces that need cleaned. Unless they have something thats small and portable. Of course if I quit using the canned air on the animals buts when I sneak up on them it might last longer!!! LMAOLMAO
Well since you have a compressor, you could buy an air tank at Walmart, or simply buy a hose or 2 long enough to stretch from the compressor to the computer (Sears often puts compressor hoses on sale, but Walmart might have them even cheaper).

I use canned air for only one use - scattering the cats when they're being bad.

I usually use a small, portable bicycle pump with a small piece of rubber tubing over a football needle attached to the hose--You can snip the end of needle to enlarge it and the tubing will keep any metal from touching----

You can also use a hand-pump bug sprayer with a small piece of aquarium tubing on the end to avoid static or metal touching...
That is a good cheap idea!!! Im gonna try that and see how that works for me. Thank you!!! worship
Something even better would be one of those pumps to blow up an airbed!!! They blow fast and hard!!! Shut up dabbs!!!

Thats a good idea!! I have stuff in 3 locations but non of them near the window. I like to leave the window open when it rains so I can hear it better and I love the smell of rain. i have really beautiful fancy shower curtains on my windows but you would never know that is what they are.
Leave the vac running nearby, or use the air compressor hose in one hand and the vac wand in the other (holding it well away from the computer).

I usually just disconnect the computers and take them out to the driveway to blow them out, so no cleanup needed.

Buy a static strap, they're cheap. Finding them locally is usually the biggest problem. It's a wrist strap and wire so you can statically ground yourself to a metal table leg, etc. Disposable ones are usually $1-2, so if you're ordering anything electronic online (or making an Amazon order), see if that site offers them.

Thats a good idea too but its a long way to the garage. I'll have to think on that one

I had a quart can of dehydrated water once

directions were:
fill can with water to reconstitute
add extra if you want it more dilute
Thats something my son would buy for me!!! LMAOLMAO
