Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

handle bars

goose neck forward
back break is on the right hand side of handle bars
loosen 2 front screws on goose neck to rotate handle bars to correct position

tighten front screws
center screw

and 2 side screws

all use 6mm allen wrench
so does the front brake cable which will need adjusting

use side cutters or wire cutter to cut off excess 9 miles of brake cable
there are 3 aluminum cable ends in the plastic spare parts bag
crimp one on the end of the brake cable right away or it will unravel
screws for the reflectors are in the bag too.

I'm re posting this for new bike deliveries
just a little help

go back a few days we had an assembly discussion

Sounds like a lot of bikes were delivered today. Now if ya's can just get some weather to ride them, you'll be all set.

just put it together
your not gong to return it for warranty issues.
most of the bike is assembled
only seat handle bars and front wheel to put on
Finally got my bike last night! Put the bars, seat and wheel on but I'm wondering if the bike needs to be tuned before riding (rear derailleur, front forks, shifter) or if the bike is ready to ride out of the box. I adjusted the front brake and also noticed knobs on top of the fork ... are those used to adjust the stiffness of fork travel?

yes for the forks
I gave one of the derailleur cable adjuster a 1/8 turn otherwise it was ready to go
