I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

Yuppers, folks, one of the most butt ugly purses I've ever seen. It's a green-tinged gold colored aligator/snake skin item -- sent FedEx. My first thought was "OMG, they have to be joking." but then, inside the purse, was a soft storage bag, so I said to moi-meme, "Hmmm. That looks kind of expensive." Went on-line, and the stupid thing retails for like $100.
They must have gotten it free for advertising or something. What a waste ! ! I doubt that even my sister will be able to think of anyone to foist this off on.

I think what upsets me is that it's like a slap in the face. "No TV, but here's a freebie someone found in the back of her closet." Like, why bother???? Just say "sorry about the error" and move on. I don't know. It's just so offensive. Not even something I'd CONSIDER re-gifting, that's how bad it is. Oh well, time I moved on.

That's the whole problem. I cannot imagine ANYONE buying that grotesque thing on Craigslist or eBay. It's worse in real life, honestly. It's like fake gold jewelry that has turned. I don't know how else to describe it.
