Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Wow! That's great for you too!!!!!!!! I was off a long time, then got a job at the end of January, lasted 6 weeks and owners cancelled the buyout, long story, which cancelled my nice job. Been back in market since. Sucks! Overqualified for alot of stuff which is offensive to be told that. Not much I can do about that.

OMG so sorry. Oldest brother who was like our father died and one is now in prison yikes and kind of disowned do I here ya. Other 2 brothers one very very christian and pushes it on you and then my best friend baby brother that I can't say anything but good about.

Wow thanks guys it has been a great week for us all weather its a new job, big winning, and all my new friends here. I will still be around but not as much and weekends it is on. So Thanks for all of your fun, crazyness and winning. YOU ALL ROCK!!!!

By the sounds of what I've heard in the past posts, you were you're fathers favorite. I am to. And it ticks my sis right off. Only my Dad has nothing left to give. Worked ALL his life 2 and 3 jobs and is now in a rest home in NY. Brother just finalized closin on his house this Tuesday in Alabama which goes all to Medicaire. I'm gnna see if I can possibly copy the email he sent me . It is hilarious..... When he was trying to do the closing.

yes I used to me told that when I moved to Calif. I was over qaulified because i worked for 22 years back in wisconsin for the same job and they wanted someone new and not set in their ways.

I guess that's why there's that quote: "You can't pick your family, but you CAN pick your friends". There's so much out there that provide us with warm and fuzzy feel good moments - like what we all get here on FF. Our Mom was very religious, very devout (sp?), but she never pushed it on anyone. She guided by example. The other adage, "you attract more bees with honey.....". Hug2

you would think they would be happy as they are paying the same amount but whatever, I just thank them and move on. CFO's are out of work and taking the spots I apply for, now they for sure will take them job until something opens in their price range for sure. One day at a time......................
