Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

both have all the kerig you want but no Tassimo's
haven't been to bed bath and beyond, but may have to go there.

I'm gonna refill mine with the Kona my ex neighbor sent me from his farm
The Bed Bath and Beyond run them on sale all the time here and you can get their 20% off coupon all the time in the mail and alot of times on their website. The coupon has an expire date on it but they will take it after the date. just fyi.

Yeah!! Walmart cuts you off at 25 now!!! Bummer! Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
Walmart, from Mar 2-16, were taking Catalinas from other stores, no restrictions other than what was printed on them. So I was using Walgreens Catalinas ($X on your next purchase - not on any specific item) there for papers, food, whatever. Unfortunately, they must have had some of the Extreme Couponers bury them in them, because they revised the policy on Mar 16 saying that the Catalina had to be on a specific item.

Lucky for me, though, our local Walmart hadn't updated their policy, as I sneaked in a last purchase - used 5 $10 WAG Cats and a $6 Cat to buy the 5-disc BlueRay TRON and some fillers. The only BR disc I have right now (just finally hooked up my "old" Sony BR player that I bought at WAG with a pile of Catalinas, $10 OOP for a $180 player. HAD to hook it up, as I pulled my old DVD player to give to my in-laws while in Destin for the Wine Festival). And that BR set was worth 325 Disney Rewards points!

had same problem with facebook, making me nuts!
My mom coupons like crazy. She and my dad have storage under their house and dad has built shelves in the garage. Then each sister has their own workbench area for stuff bought specifically for them as they are at my parents every couple of days. Mom goes to Walgreens, RiteAid and CVS every single day and twice on Sundays as she goes alone then one sister comes over and they go again. I go home a couple times a year to visit then load up my car. I don't remember the last time I bought bath wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc. It is our family running joke. Then twice a year she participates in her neighborhood garage sale and sells a bunch of it. The neighbors love it. She makes over $1000 each time on what we all call her game. Makes dad nuts though as there is organized stuff everywhere!
Yeah, we're pretty much "the store" for local family and co-workers. We only charge our cost, which is usually zero or real close to it.

We live 15 miles from any shopping, so when we go out on a shopping trip, it is anywhere from 50-150 miles, as I hit up to 10 CVSes, 8 Walgreens, 5 Walmart, etc, etc. But with gas going up again and no income for me (and wife at 1/2 income), those trips are at most once a week (back when I had a good job and only shopped on weekends, some days I'd fill the car with stuff, drop it off at home, and go back out again. I topped 200 miles a couple times). Couldn't do it without the mpg of the Prius, though, my old car held 1/3 as much (sports car) and burned twice the gas. I am SO glad that I dumped the savings from couponing into triple payments on my car, it was paid off when I was laid off (wasn't too happy about being laid off just 3 weeks after buying a brand new $$$$$ riding mower, though).

I've won the Nesquik game 5 out of the last 8 days, but nothing else lately besides 3 Malibu music downloads. My wife hasn't won it at all yet. I have a Nesquik bunny bobblehead, 3 Nesquik coupons, and an ESPN.com 3 month membership so far (NO idea what to do with that, I mostly ignore sports).

Nesquik doesn't work for me in FF, I use Chrome (and Chrome Canary Build for my wife's entries - all of her sweeps are isolated on Canary so I don't have to worry about login cookies messing things up).

Cats/Catalinas = the coupon printers next to the registers, the back side of the paper has fluorescent orange printing on it no matter what store it comes from (easy to spot them across an entire parking lot when people litter. I've found several that way that were for $X off your next purchase. People might as well have tossed cash on the ground). Prints Manufacturer Qs, but often has the store's name on the front (but what most stores don't tell you is that these are still good at all stores, unless it specifically says "Good/valid only at Store X" - Publix registers scan the WAG Cats just fine).

WAG = Walgreens
OOP = Out of Pocket expense - for heavy couponers, it is usually just the tax. For my Sony BR player, I paid about $8 in tax, and spent about $2-3 on some of the items that earn the Cats, so that $180, on sale for $99, cost me about $10-11 in Real Money. It will cost more in cables (and partial cost on the HDMI switcher I'll eventually need) than I paid for it.
