I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

When I gave her the MO, she handed back two $1s, one $5 and one $100. I looked at the money and asked, "What am I supposed to do with a hundred dollar bill?" She looked confused by the question, so I continued, "Can you see me trying to give this to a Ralph's cashier? I can just hear her now – Oh no problem. Just a minute. Betty, call the FBI, will you?" Then I told her up front that nobody was going to believe I was legitimately carrying around a hundred dollar bill, but what the heck, I'd find someplace to off load it.
Well, she totaled up the cost of the package containing the you know what, a book of stamps, a package to my nephew and an envelope containing a pile of free coupons I was sending to my beloved sister. She told me that the total cost was $19.55. I said, "Oh, I have that," and handed her the hundred dollar bill. Totally cracked her up. She said, "I can't believe I never saw that coming."
At any rate, following is the promised picture of the cash. Eat your hearts out.

I do have to admit, however, that due to the spendthift influence of Gary123, I have already blown $3.99. He gave such a glowing review of the Magnum ice cream bars that I bought a three-pack at Ralphs on my way home from the PO.
If anyone else is wondering, the bars are fantastic.

When I told her I wanted a book of stamp, I said, "The regular kind." She looked at the different kinds on her desk and said, "They're all regular stamps." So I said, "No, those stamps with fireworks on them are not regular. And Kansas? You have stamps of Kansas with windmills. Like who would use those except people from Kansas? What, fifty people in the entire country would use those so that makes them regular? And what's with the poker stamps?" So she looked at the stamps on the desk and said, "You mean these?" holding up some stamps with a king and queen of like diamonds or spades or something. So I said, "Yes. Do you have Texas Hold Em games going in back rooms here? You sell these so you'll have enough to ante up? No way those are regular." Seriously, we were giggling like fools because I kept carrying on about the stamps. And then I handed her back the hundred dollar bill and that just capped the whole experience.
But you're right, I should have considered all possible ramifications before potentially pissing off a postal worker. I'll certainly think twice next time. Nah, who am I kidding? I never think twice. I rarely even think once. But you did have a valid point.
