I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

I'm really a homebody, but seem to be traveling a lot since I retired. I've been to Vermont, Florida, and Alaska since August. Maybe, it's just as well I'm too old to go to the Marlboro ranch. Maybe I'd get lost or something.

I build my own cat trees, cheaper and better quality. I saved that pic to my ideas folder, that would be a good one. I could probably build it for less than $100 in materials, and I don't even want to think about what it retails for.
I put up 2 "plant shelves" in my sunroom, and ran carpet down them. They're one foot from the ceiling, specifically for cats. I built a tower in the corner, it's just 6 or 7 platforms with alternating cutouts so they can hop from one to the other, surrounded by 4 2x4s wrapped in carpet. The outer 2x4 is wrapped with rope all the way up. One of the cats can zigzag up those platforms up the 7 feet in about 2 seconds.
