I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

It is just awful that so many all over the country (world) have suffered from storms and floods these past few years. Really makes one wonder.
Did you grow up near Joplin?
I thought Missouri was beautiful. Branson is so far south that we probably should have driven into Arkansas just so we could say we've been in that state. We were at Big Cedar Resort. Son and family had a mini timeshare, so they invited us along.
You've probably been to Branson numerous times. My husband liked the old downtown. Dick's Five and Ten Cents Store was fun. Last Monday we had lunch in a diner: deep fried meatloaf with mashed potatoes and a white gravy, southern style.
My step mom and her family were from Joplin but they are all dead now. The houses they used to live in are destroyed so Im glad they arent going through this, although I miss them

I have had Roboform for about six months and love it! I was curious about whether or not it would disqualify me from entering contests, but it is a form filler, so there is usually no problem. (But I always read the rules beforehand.) When I asked that question here in the Funny Farm, Gary123X assured me that I would eventually have to pay for it. But I installed the basic one, without an upgrade, and it has never cost me anything. It is especially convenient if you are entering contests for more than one person, like I do for me and hubby. Here is a link for you to read more about it, which I did before I installed it.
