Well, we didn't ALL read either of those things because I don't know what you are talking about and I will bet I am not alone. Ok, yes, I know the base story of the purse thing and what lead to it for whatever reason and I am sure some feelings were hurt on both sides, hands down. BUT, there are tons of us that have no clue what was going on behind the scenes and don't need nor want to. PM's are exactly that, PRIVATE and should be kept so. PM doesn't mean be nice though we all should be but at least if someone is going to be nasty, best to do it in a PM and not on the blog for all of us who have no idea what is going on nor care. Just my opinion. And you can always block someone if you get your feelings hurt.
I assume (and we all know what that means so if I am wrong, sorry) the site you are talking about is the Fat Wallets one. I am not trying to be rude here, but the only post for that site I saw was Jules posting of that is where they went. If someone posted it before that, I didn't see. I like Jules, as already stated, she is funny and entertaining and we have had more than one conversation about misc. things. I will also say I was very disappointed to see the posts about PM message content on the blog and even more disappointed to see the Fat Wallet posting on the blog. Again, ,I don't know who did what to whom nor do I care, I only know the parts that affect me, which is what I read so I know I don't have the whole story but isn't that the point? Most of us don't know the whole story, don't want to know, doesn't affect us but the negativity stemming from it is affecting us. If "they" whomever they are, post something to offend you, can't you be the bigger person and either ignore it (which I have a hard time doing so I understand if you can't) or respond with hey, no need being an A$$. Why, if they killed your gang members, do you have to kill one of theirs and so on and keep it going. Can't one of you be the bigger person?

You have posted at least 20 people have left. I am sorry to tell you it is more than that and even more than those 20 are sitting back stalking the site and afraid to post. I don't even post much and have received PM's from newbies and a few older ones about the negativity and turmoil. Their loss, but also ours as it takes diversity to make the world go round. And I am sorry to tell you that you may think "they" are negative and starting things, but so are you guys. Whether it is reactionary or initiated or some where in between. I do feel sorry for all of us that lurk most of the time. "They" are allowed to come on this site too, as is everyone. People can not respond and also block them. I for one miss them, as I would miss Jules if she left and I am willing to bet, there are alot of us with that thought process.

CK, you raise a valid point. The biggest problem in all of this is that nobody really knows the truth of all this, yet so many people have an opinion. So much of the vitriol has been deleted, sanitized, or (thankfully) done in PMs.
I would beg to differ with you re: this being an open and welcoming forum. I cannot tell you how many times that I've dropped in to say hello and gotten the cold shoulder: I mean nothing. So I'd just leave. I know a lot of people who won't even try coming in here.

MLX: secretbatline wasn't around during OWTW as far as I know. Don't know when she got on the FF, but she was very active in the Ford Focus Rally thread - which I didn't participate in. Her "wit" can kiss my butt! She is not in the least bit funny - and sounds like I'm not the only one who thinks that.
Challs: Yeah were in the heck did secret whatever come from? Never on the forum, then comes in about 14 days and 14 dollars short, with the you no what avatar, and proceeds to beat the dead horse repeatedly into the ground (and bless us with her witty jokes) My very first time I put someone on the ignore, just couldn't bear to see that image anymore .

For your information, I played along all through them making a mockery of a legitimate auction, and risking my ebay reputation, still played along after receiving the purse, tried to continue to play along through all the teasing & poking fun at me - until it got to a point that it was just taken too far. When I asked them to stop, they just carried on more, so I decided to take a break from the FF.

I am not tearing up any friendships. I just left the FF. I am not responsible for anyone else's friendships or disagreements & I resent your accusations. If people can't let it go & quit carrying on about it, that's not my problem.

It may be why MLX left and maybe a few that were part of the purse thing, but alot more have left, and read quietly, because of the negative crap that stems from it. That is all I am trying to say and made my point. It is every day and she has been gone awhile now. I am sure her coming on here the other night to support Tree upset some and feelings got hurt again but posting how boring some conversations are isn't very nice or welcoming. Then calling people polish wannabies even less nice and i would have to go back and re read the posts but pretty sure all of us in that conversation had nothing to do with what transpired between you all so we all got kicked for kicks.

what are you talking about? No, I mean really? I didn't make fun of Pollocks as I am one. My deceased grandmother is 100% slovic and the rest of her 19 siblings are polish. Most of the town they grew up in is polish and we go there every year for a polish festival, also referenced the other night. If you read the conversations from the other night, it was all about polish types of food, not making fun of polocks. The fun was made by YOU referencing pollock wannabies multiple times which started this whole thing for me, oh, and the weather. Just because your last name is polish doesn't give you the market on it, you are the fun maker, not us, hence the whole point of the nastiness.
Furthermore, you are able, welcome and may be even justified in getting upset at MLX, again, I don't know the whole story but have found there is your version, my version then the actual truth in most everything. I just don't think it should all be aired here for all of us non involvers to be involved.
