CK, you raise a valid point. The biggest problem in all of this is that nobody really knows the truth of all this, yet so many people have an opinion. So much of the vitriol has been deleted, sanitized, or (thankfully) done in PMs.
I would beg to differ with you re: this being an open and welcoming forum. I cannot tell you how many times that I've dropped in to say hello and gotten the cold shoulder: I mean nothing. So I'd just leave. I know a lot of people who won't even try coming in here.

Please, tell me you're joking. Can you say, "Screen shot" or "Copy & Paste"? How many forums have you started only to be shut down because all it was about was slamming and hurting people? Point to the decent and respectful here:

Well, this is the second time I have been publicly quoted, so I have no choice but to respond and explain my twice quoted post on another forum. Alas, I am forced to be somewhat hypocritical, and beat the horse.
To secretbatline: I apologize if I hurt your feelings, I have made numerous posts on this forum and have been nothing but positive, even in the midst of many tumultuous times. The post you referred to was not on this forum, and was considered an observation by me, not a personal attack.
My point was that many people had tuned out of this forum after about a week of non-stop bup jokes (I personally participated in the first several days).
You came in on the bup thing with the avatar Jakava had decided to stop using and numerous jokes, well after many people had started to grow tired of the non-stop bup jokes and images, thus my reference to "14 days and 14 dollars short". Believe me, there was a silent majority that had started to frequent the forum less and less, a joke no matter how good, loses its humor after being rehashed for weeks on end, thus my reference to "repeatedly beating a dead horse into the ground". And if was tired of seeing your purse avatar (again, after jakava had used it for about a week) I certainly was not alone. As for" bless us with her witty jokes", you can be witty, but as I stated before, any purse jokes at the time you got in on it , in my humble opinion, were no longer funny. Humor is of course subjective, what's funny to some is not funny to others.
So once again, I apologize if I hurt your feelings.I personally am ready to move on with life. There is no reason to exclude anyone from this forum, let's all make nice and treat each other with respect.
