Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

I don't say too much here and I have been out for about 10 days or so, but there certainly seems to be a lot of stuff flying around.....again, I'm not a big participant, but it is a shame to see something that was fun and lite become difficult and a place that seems to have "sides" to take......Please keep me in mind if a peaceful majority moves to a different location....if that is OK, I mean.....

I usually don't comment in these discussions, but I agree with what ckand33 said about the diversity of this group. The company where I work (over 1500 people) was orded by a state court to have civil rights training. It isn't always what you say, or how you said it, or even what you meant - it is how it is percieved by someone, even if that person wasn't who you were addressing!
The "golden rule" goes a long way. I hope everyone enjoys the holiday weekend. 'nuff said!
Okay, a brokerage house sent one of those expensive teddy bears to one of the examiners (and of course she couldn't keep it, so the office manager put everyone's name in a bowl and someone got to take it home) but they put the bear on a cabinet so everyone could see what the drawing was for. It was a teddy bear -- and people were ooohing and awwwing and coooing etc. over the stupid bear. So I printed out a bullseye and propped it up on its chest. I told people I would be bringing in my bow and arrow set the next day and then we'd see how many people ended up wanting a skewered ursine toy. "Diversity Training ! ! !"
One of my jobs was to decide which terminated reps would be subjected to a full-scale, broil-them-over-a-grill examination. I told people that I'd decided that one day a week, I'd only send Italian reps' cases to the lawyers. The next day Polish people. The next day Germans, etc. "Diversity Training ! ! !"
I mean, those diversity people were out to get me, don't you agree?

Ohh that will be nice and relaxing. I got a lot done today. Had to among many things go clothes shopping. Hate trying on clothes.
