Speaking of showers...my SIL called me today and offered to throw a shower. 1) I am not all about showers for me AT. ALL! 2) this is my 3rd child, not to mention back to back boys, so we're pretty set. I graciously declined and told her that I am traditional and would like to follow etiquette (that showers are normally only thrown for first born). I know things have changed and we are a progressive society so celebrating all babies regardless of birth order is a wonderful thing. I just do not want a shower or even a sprinkle in the least, so etiquette was my out!

I am getting the same car seat! The color I wanted is at $181 right now, plus $20 shipping. I will continue to watch it to see if it drops in price! There is one color on there that is $157 plus $20 shipping, so I may have to get that one if the other one never drops!
We weren't going to get a new stroller at all, bc we have a jogging stroller that I love, but it was stored on our back porch. You know Ca and what likes to live outside houses/garages here. Yep, I found a HUGE black widow spider in it when I was cleaning it off. My brother killed the spider (much to his dismay) but I still refuse to touch the stroller. I will gladly pay full price for a stroller and keep it in my van forever, before I will ever touch the 'tainted one'

If anyone asked me any questions lately, the answer is probably either yes, or no, unless it is maybe....
I THINK I am done bailing water. I got my new sump pump yesterday. Still had a flooded basement last night. The plumbers took the fuse out of the fuse box and forgot to put it back in....
But I got my other stuff fixed too!
Anyway, I contemplating a perm. I haven't had one in years. A year or two ago I actually got one at beauty shop and it didn't take. Not sure if it's my hair or the the girl who did it. If I do it, I'm doing it myself. Yes, I know what I am doing. I used to perm pretty regularly. So cost isn't a factor. The box is sitting in the bathroom and the rods are in the cupboard. What do ya think? Should I give it a shot? Then, I thinking, if I do, that I will run into town tomorrow or Thursday and have it trimmed and shaped up a little bit. Contemplating actually getting it cut a little bit more than a trim but not short.

She "fixed" my card so that it would work but when I tried to use it to purchase a cell phone, it declined the card. I don't know if it's fixed now or not.
