So I turned 40 this week and my coworkers decorated my classroom and the hallways with black balloons and streamers and over the hill signs....it was cute....and sweet of them too....but dang now I can't claim 32 anymore....these high schoolers will never forget the spectacle and now I will be forever in my 40's....

I haven't been to a slumber party for a LONG time... but my friend's daughter is going to dance in the state competition for high school dance teams tommorrow - and so I am going to spend the night with my friend - so her mom can go watch the competition tommorrow. It was either that, or get up at 4:30 am
My friend has ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) - so she needs someone to be with her. I sure wish she could go to watch the dance though.. (I know she wishes that too!)
Maybe I should dance for her.
Maybe deleting the credit card from the #1 account and re- adding it will work ?

This morning I received news that a young one who is near and dear to us had passed away. He had been very ill, but there was hope for recovery. He had received several transplants., but it was too much for his young body to handle. If you wouldn't mind, I would ask that you keep this family in your prayers. :

Went for a quick run by target this afternoon after I picked up my DD.. THings went fine and I went to a super sweet jedi that I have gone to before.. She was scanning, and hitting k1 when needed without even waiting for me to find the item for her.. Anyway, right toward the end, her phone rang and she answered and looked around strangely and said okay. After that, if something beeped, she read and studied it closely, and I pulled each item out so she could look at it before she would k1.. Maybe I am paranoid, but can't help but think someone called her and told her to.. It wasn't a big deal cause I had the items and was able to show them to her.. but I just found it strangely odd.. I think maybe I have overstayed my welcome at that store for awhile. I like to fly under the radar and not be flagged

Yup right then. Ugh! Ya know I think I should start highlighting my hair all blond again. I never got a ticket when I had a lot of blond in my hair. Now that my hair is darker I have gotten three. I guess it could be my lead foot though.
