In my house, it works the opposite. I have three dogs, and if I say "What did you do???" two of them slink away, and the one who's usually guilty is too stupid to know to leave.
My biggest "problem" is the cheap inserts that come in my weekly paper. I usually get the prior week's SS and the coming week's RP. So when I get the Sunday inserts, I don't clip right away because I know I'll be getting more on Wednesday and when I get the Wednesday inserts, I don't clip because I know I'll be getting more on Sunday.....and round and round it goes until I have such a mess I finally do it. Of course by then I have so many it takes me f.o.r.e.v.e.r. to do! So I just shut the door to my office, fire up Hulu and watch all the shows I can't watch with the kiddos!
I know they have some shelf liner material that does just that. Something like this:

i was just saying toner is expensive just to print coupons. if it makes you feel any better, it would be nice to have a professional printer. i have a hand-me-down hp laserjet that is about 18 yrs old, cartridges at staples, etc cost $100 but since printer and toner is discontinued, i can get oem's on ebay for somewhere above $15 and less than $30. so to me your toner is expensive. however, i won't be trading my printer in anytime either since i mostly print coupons and shopping lists and i really don't even need a laser print for that. it does waste a lot of paper b/c i cannot reprint on used paper. just jams the machine if i try to reuse.

i told dh how i'm doing so he climbed on the scale yesterday and thinks he lost about 20lbs and he's not even trying!
told dh i wouldn't mind talking to the mgr and seeing if he would mind me coming every sunday nite to get the inserts, dh could get his freebie and buy lotto. i would even volunteer to rip off all the headmasts for them. told dh i would be happy w/ 4 sets each wk since supermarket only doubles up to 4 like q's and when they want to be strict the corporate policy is to only take 4 like q's total. i only go once/wk to the supermarket anyway. more circulars would just be more crap to manage.

Ohhh, you never should have offered that. I am pretty sure I am going to bombard you with questions later. I've got a few other things around here that I have always wanted to try to eBay and never have. Got a couple more things at the auction yesterday and I'm gonna do it. Soon. Not today, but soon.
I figured while I was out and about today, I would pick up one of each of the flat rate boxes and envelopes. And if I spot any nice boxes in good sizes while I am at the recycle bins, I will grab them. That way, prior to listing an item I can take it to the post office, have it weighed and get exact postage + insurance. I don't have a scale, not gonna buy one and my post office is really small and never busy.
That was funny.
Now, I have to go to FB once again to see what you all have been up to. I don't know who is who over there -- but I can just about guess which ones are from here. Oh, last night I didn't see some of the comments you were talking about -- like the one about these people here and the patio coupon. Had that been deleted or am I doing something wrong? I don't use FB. Only reason I have an account is to occasionally print a coupon.
Forgot to mention last night -- love the gnome. That's almost enough to make me like yard statuary.
I've been on eBay for a long time, so can also help if needed. What I would recommend is that you spend some time in their community forums, read the Seller Central discussion board. I did that for quite a while before jumping in and sellling. It made things very smooth, as I understood it all. You will read about a lot of problems sellers have and know about all the options you can set up. There's a shipping forum, and many others and they are full of experts and idiots just like everywhere, but you will learn a lot in there.
This is the FB [facebook.com]page we were talking about. I think most of my comments were deleted too, and I agree that unless it's a personal page, the comments should have to remain.
That's all gonna have to wait a day or two though. We have a well water/pressure tank issue with our rental house that we have to deal with. I shouldn't even be on here now. I have stuff to do!
