The other funny thing is that I don't think their "quality" is that much better than everyone else now. I mean, there used to be a day that you could probably say that they were better than most brands out there, but that's just not so now. And once you get going on the whole "green" issue, there are companies that do much better - and folks are willing to pay for that kind of stuff.
Of course, I should probably state that I'm in a love-hate relationship with P&G. Especially since they were one of the biggest reasons Kroger quit allowing electronic q and paper Q stacking - which is kind of annoying.
Mavis is snuggling in my lap. We got up late today (7:30) and she's now rubbing her eyes and yawning. (so am I... lol)

I feel so lost here.
Been really tired lately. Not sure if it's my meds or something else going on but I'm ready for it to stop. My house is a mess and I have no desier to even begin to touch it. I need a maid.
Today is my 10 year wedding anniversary. Shoulda done something nice but didn't. DH was nice and cooked dinner. I guess the 500 bucks he got to spend at Gamestop the other day was his gift. :
I am done with T for a while. Had a very bad run yesterday. Questioned everything and counted items and coupons. Said he couldn't take some of them. Don't remember the reasoning but they were legit. I finally ended up telling him to just void the transaction.
Most of the cashiers think I am trying to rip Target off and I am such an angel.
Do you guys just get fed up and tire of the constant battle??

My really one bad bug I avoided Target like the plague (I have Publix that I can use TQs at) so it wasn't that difficult to avoid. I'm blessed with 3 Targets in the area and a new one just announced to be built basically in the middle of them all. So if I can't get what I want at one, the others look quite attractive.
Apparently nothing gets me up early in the morning like the constant unrelenting thoughts about a dentist appt. :

I don't like it either but don't back down. When he tells you why he won't, tell him why he will, nicely and clearly -- once. Then don't argue just look at him. Hell, use the I'myourmomandImeanit look. When you don't respond and just stand there looking at them not saying anything, for some reason it makes people really uncomfortable. More often than not, it works, if not, get the manager. I'll bet he won't argue with you next time.
The manager is the problem. She has the poor cashier afraid to take any coupon.
She doesn't like me and goes out of her way to show that. I must just learn to walk out when that GSTL is there.
I did call GS on the red phone on her once and she will never forget that. They told her she was wrong and she told me she did not have to do what they said. She said she would do it just this once. I don't even remember what the particular coupon or issue was at the time.

anybody have a $10 amazon baby code they'd be willing to trade? I checked the trade thread but I don't have anything people over there are looking for. I can print multiple TQs and IPQs. I picked up one lone C9 hangtag as well - if someone really wanted more I could probably work up the courage to pick up a few more this weekend. hehe
I hope everyone's day is better (it IS Friday!). It's sunny here and the kids have their school done already, so I'm optimistic it's going to be a good day.
I don't think I replied lastnight, but I am excited to have more homeschoolers to bounce ideas off here. Everybody has a different system, but I'm hoping the more ideas I get, the better the system I can come up with for us. The biggest part for me (so far) is sticking to a daily schedule.

I wonder if I can find a good deal on Oreos for ice cream cake... I have Blue Bunny in the freezer and a jar of hot fudge. And I'm pretty sure there is some whipped cream in the freezer too. I am

We had company over last night. J's friends just a had a baby and they came over to show us him. They ended up staying really late! I mean at 8:30, I went upstairs to lay down (I was tired) and they still stayed, then at 10 J finally said he needed to go to to bed, and they left. They have a 5 yo and a newborn, I am not sure why they were staying so late on a school day. I don't think they have spring break this week (next town over) so who knows.
Anyways, since I was up, I was gonna order my carseat from Kohls. Right before I completed the order, I decided to check Amazon just in case, well they had dropped the The First Years True Fit C670 Premier Convertible Car Seat down to $194.99 and it was sold by amazon, so I was able to use my $10 Q to drop it and then use GCs to help pay for it. I still don't know if it was the better deal, but J said it was. I ended up paying $112 oop on Amazon. At Kohls I would have paid $150 oop, but I would have earned $40 in Kohls cash, which I was planning on using it towards a stoller. The only thing is they didn't have the stroller we wanted
I need to go to Kohls today as well as RA and SW. SW is doing another good frozen food deal, so I have to go! I have $20 in Ups expiring tomorrow at RA so I need to try and spend that (and hopefully get some back) and then I have a $10 Kohls Q to use in store.
