How about putting an "s" on every store's name: I'm going to K-Mart's, Wal-Mart's, etc. I hate that!
And don't forget where/were confusion. Misuse of apostrophes (they're not used to pluralize!!!). "Of" instead of "have" as in "I should of done that."
Shoot, I've been guilty of saying "I shoulda ..." instead of "should have". I know better but it just slips out sometimes.

But to all my fellow KC shoppers - Funny story - I stopped by the Legends T this am though they are generally Q-haters over there. Found a microwave marked down 75% for $13 and was thrilled as ours started sounding like a Geiger counter a couple weeks back, even when it wasn't in use. Never knew why but assume that it wasn't a good noise. But back to my story about T. the only one they had left was the display and when I went to get it off the shelf with the employees help I notice there is no power cord. So I ask where it is, we check under and around the shelf in inside the microwave to no avail. Finally, it dawned on me it was significantly lighter than the other microwaves on display next to it that we had moved to look for the missing cord. Come to find out it was just a shell for display only, even had a sticker on it saying Not for Sale. But if I hadn't noticed they would have sold it to me anyways.

HOWEVER, since I do need a new microwave I am sorely tempted to buy one from either the Ward Parkway or Mission stores at $54 and drive it over to Legends to return and hopefully re-buy at the lower price. I don't like buying at one store and returning to another with a better discount often, especially since the last time I did it ended up being a bit of an ordeal, but to save $40+ I'm thinking it might just be worth it.

If anyone else is interested the DCPI is 072010204 and it is a TINY 0.7 cu ft Emerson.

Oh sure, tell me to shut up then tell me you heart me. This sounds a little bit like domestic abuse.
Quote from mama2cole :
My family now saves the TP rolls without me even asking. Just the other day I saw Cole walking down the hall with one and I'm all "where, you going with that" and he's all "I'm putting it on your desk".
Heidi loves toilet paper rolls and has ever since she was a little puppy. She will get into the bathroom trash, not bother anything else, and take the empties out. The she brings them out and plays with them until either there is nothing left or I throw it away... in the kitchen trash that is in a cupboard.

Early babies -- My DD was a month early. Normal pregnancy right up until she stopped moving, went in, induced that day. Obviously, it was unexpected. We were in hospital for 3 days. The night before we were going home, I told DH not to stay, take our 3 year old and go home. I asked that he just make sure the house was picked up when he came the next morning to get us -- cuz you know you are gonna have people showing up. It was fine when I left, just whatever they had done over a couple days. Next morning, he didn't come and didn't come... finally I called and asked what the hell was taking him so long. He was cleaning out the refrigerator. LMAO

I wanted the pink polka dotty one, but Amazon didn't have that one in stock. I got the Black/Red one. I check the site you listed (daily Embarrassment) and it was still a better deal at Amazon with my GCs. What is funny is that the black/red one was just $249.99 a few days ago at Amazon. Dontknow I think that is why I hoped on the deal. Also bc it is part of the Free 365-Day Returns from Amazon. I will just keep it in box until I need it, that way if I find a better deal somewhere else, I can return the Amazon one.

I like the Chicco Liteway Stroller [amazon.com] in surf. I need a stroller that is high enough for J (he is 6'3) and yet light enough for me, also not very expensive (bc I am cheap Embarrassment). I have been searching CL, but not finding anything yet. Frown
Yeah it has to be on one of those daily things to be a superty-duperty-good deal and they haven't put any more up yet sadly Frown I would still like to order another for dh's truck (same seat is outgrown in there too) but she doesn't ride in there often at all so I have time to wait Smilie

I like the Surf color of that stroller. Have you checked out this one by chance?: First Years Ignite [amazon.com]

We needed a compact stroller for dd (were still using the bulky travel system ones all the time) and got this one recently - I am super-impressed. Got it from Kohls w/30% off + Kohls cash. It is a taller one too....very nice for dh....and me, I'm short, but I am so used to everything being taller than me that I just don't care if it's comfortable or whatever laugh out loud But this one is just fine; a lot of the reviews from taller ppl are favorable. Taller seatback too....dd has plenty of room to grow at 3+. Some complain that the recline doesn't go all the way back though - wasn't an issue for us. It is a nice little stroller! Love the parent organizer that comes with too.

Ugh! I have mucho anxiety about the dentist too, I think I may just have to ask for some Valium before getting my crown whever that may be. I know I will be about hyperventilating, I am at just the though, all the drilling and grinding, shiver, ugh, nightmare! Gook luck on the 5k, keep warm and bring something hot to drink.

So I apologize to all you grammar etiquette and spelling people. Not my strongest subject and I know I must irritate the heck out of all of you. sad.
They suggested the Valium. I don't know if I'm gonna do that or the gas....meds. have a history of making me sick to my stomach Sick LOL you don't annoy me Wink

Naaaa, I do the same thing. I would consider that slang not misuse. No, I can't define the difference, it just IS. Shoulda, gonna, cuz are a few of my favorites. Can't tell you when I last spelled out because.

There is no reason for the dental work to cause you pain. If it does, find another dentist. I had the dentist from hell as a kid and still tense up. Until I went to another dentist, I didn't know it didn't have to be awful. Do you have an MP3 player you can wear to block out all the sounds? Then shut your eyes and focus on something that take a lot of concentration -- write a story, draw up a budget, remodel a room, design a new piece of furniture you want build. Work it through in minute detail. And breath... I don't blame you for not wanting drugs that are gonna make you sick. You can work through it without them.

Electric toothbrush -- I'm not sure by your comment if you have one or not. I highly, seriously recommend the Sonicare. It will do the job in the back of your smaller mouth. Brush head is small and you don't have to move it around. I know they are expensive and the heads are expensive but so is the dentist. I'm kind of surprised by the fluoride Rx since you have city water and nearly all tp is has flouride. I doubt if I would fill it either.

I know I'm a day late to this conversation. But the one that always bugged me was when I was going to school in Scotland and the kids I babysat for extra cash would always use the word "how?" instead of "why?" when they were told they couldn't have something they wanted.

Example:
Kids - "Fa Icer, Fa Icer!"
Translation - Want Ice Cream (Ice Cream truck bells in distance)
My Reply - "NO"
Kids - "How Nay, How Nay?"
Translation - "Why not?"
Then My Reply if I really got wound up - "Cuz ur gonna sit on ur arse and watch the telly and ya nay gonna go fa icer!" - I wasn't what you would call the best babysitter back in the day.

I have had a lot of cavities redone, and then wisdom tooth extracted..For the extraction, I told them to sedate me..No way was I getting it done in a conscious state...I wanted to be sedated for the cavities too but the dentist laughed it off...He prescribed valium and it really makes you feel relaxed..Takes the edge away...Also having an ipod/mp3 player blasting at full volume in your ears helps laugh out loud But please remember you cannot drive after taking valium...It was not a very strong dose prescribed and I was totally aware of everything but you know...

HDDVDTV -- your manager is making me angry. Do you happen to have a small digital recorder? Get one, use it. I'm sure corporate will be more than interested in hearing what she has to say to you.

We'll be praying for you (though I must admit I'm a little excited that we'll have a new TCC baby very soon!!)

laugh out loud I'm sure she'd agree with you... that baby likes her cake. She is sleeping right now and I'm letting her go as long as she will - though I hope she wakes before the doc office closes if she's not well.

My only worry is that it could be her kidney. We've not had any problems thus far, but they did say it could pop up suddenly. *sigh*

Now, I don't watch much tv, very little, actually. But I have say, I am getting really tired of basketball replacing everything that I do watch occasionally. Apparently, I primarily watch the eye ball channel.
