Anyone in the Woodbridge VA area? I am traveling thru next Sunday/Monday and will be shopping at the Potomac Mills Ikea for my new kitchen.

We tried to pay my FIL to do this trip for us but it hasnt worked out yet sooo We are going to do a YS on Friday, then another on Saturday, pack up I will go home a pop 2 or 3 Motrin PMs and go right to sleep until 11pm when we will put the kids into the car and drive 8+ hours up to Reading PA to DH's Uncle's house to buy his enclosed trailer. We plan to get there for breakfast see a few family members then visit his Gma for the last time in the nursing home - which I am so not looking forward to. Old dying people freak me out, and I would really rather remember her how I do instead of how we will see her next week. FIL says she is basically a zombie who doesn't even get out of bed anymore - for no reason, she is in perfect health but super catholic and can't kill herself technically but just wants to be dead to be with god or whatever so she is 'not' killing herself by starving herself and holding her breathe!?!?!
After that super long 15 minutes we will get right back in the car and drive the 4+ hours back to VA and get a hotel room there for the evening and wake up for a fun filled day at Ikea. Then back home with a trailer full of Swedish finds.
Flugette and I and a few others are in the area. Big Grin I'm about 30 miles from that Ikea store. You're in NC, right? Or is my memory off?Stick Out Tongue

hug for your dh's grandma.

DB5 - Comfort Sounds like you have a rough week or so ahead. I hope it goes quickly and easily for you.

Why is Ikea popular? I've never been to one.

I'm not usually one to beg, and I guess this isn't really a beg, more of a trade offer. But if anyone here has excess amazon codes they won't be able to use, and would like to trade for coupons, I have TONS of coupon inserts, including yesterday's inserts. Which included a $10/1 Chef Michaels. I am happy to trade very generously - I only ever managed to find 3 of the $10 codes and would love to use some more of those. PM me for what you're looking for and I'm sure I have it. nod Pretty please? EyelashPlease

And this here [amazon.com] is my latest find over there.
I only had 4, traded one and used the other 3 on Friday. When I went to BRU around here, I couldn't find any magazines with the codes. When we were in Newport News, went to BRU there and couldn't find codes either. Mad

My BCF had the mags all stripped of codes, every time I went in. Never could find the mags at BRU. Maybe I'll stop in there tonight...

oh, we had pizza for dinner lastnight laugh out loud we had family over and weren't expecting them to stay until dinner, so we ordered a big deep dish from Rosati's drool
(if you pm me your address I can send you some A&D Qs nod )

I am in a cleaning mood since last evening..organized my garage, took out a lot of stuff that either will be sold by this week or it just goes into a donation pile....

oragnized my amazon closet, clothes closet...

This morning started with cleaning the house, organized the kids clothes wardrobe, arts n crafts drawer, and bestest of all "sold the pedigree bags" : woohoo: bounce And she will be my regular customer for pedigree : whee:

M2c - This morning the kids played with playdoh (they had forgotten all about it so it was fun for them), then water guns and now we are getting ready to go Publix shopping...

And yesterday we took the kids bowling, it was the first for them and they had a blast...And they don't charge you for toddler shoes...
I didn't even know they make toddler bowling shoes! We haven't been bowling for a looong time, kind of expensive Frown

Quote from mamaoftwins2 :
Ank, why don't you teach them about kroger or other stores where you generally have a by the book tranny...How to match sales + MQ+ SQ...And if you are not comfy asking for money, maybe you can tell them to pay you if they liked your class or if they save money in their next shopping trip...And they can always pay you in T GC's : teehee:
LMAO

Good Morning! I have taught classes at libraries and food banks. I did it for free. I taught the basics. Classes usually lasted an 1 1/2. I would teach CVS, WAGS, Shaw's.
I would also do raffles...I would ask a question and who ever got it right got to pick something off the table. Things like Tide, tampons, Glade, etc. Then I would also send them to HCW to follow up. HTH

This morning I:

Baked a cake
Baked a coffee cake
Made a loaf of bread
Made blueberry muffins
Paid Bills
Awesome! Now you can come to my house and finish my laundry, right? We're a family of 7, so that's probably 4 loads. Wink

Quote from mama2cole :
We took Cole bowling for the first time back in January. I was surprised how into it he was. Of course the baby wanted to toss balls around as well and she nearly gave me a stroke running around the lanes. Next time we leave her with Nana.

Had a very productive morning. Cleaned the master bedroom, emptied all the trash in the house, started a load of laundry, set off roomba, target, oil change and car wash and publix x 2 all before I had to get monkey #1 from school at 12:30.

I just heard this weird "thud, thud, thud" coming from out the front door. Jumped up to see what it was and was the UPS guy. He had to bring a dolly to deliver my boxes today and that was the sound of them coming up the front steps. : roll:
And I thought *I* ordered a lot. Coverlaugh

Quote from flugette :
Nice! That *is* a productive morning!! I managed to get hardly anything done on my to-do list. : lol: I did make it to 2 Harris Teeters, so that is definitely an accomplishment.

Has anyone seen this goody [kelloggs.com]? Limit FIVE per household.
Nice Kellogg's offer! It doesn't say anything about being an AARP member does it? (I read the whole thing and didn't see any requirement like that, but I could have missed it...)

Afternoon meanies. Wave

Wow, some of you have been very productive this morning. Me not so much, just trying to keep a teething grouch happy and clean. I must get busy though.

Same here.

You don't want to copy/paste right from the pdf as this is how you degrade the quality. You need to extract the image from the pdf in photoshop or gimp. Open the pdf at 600 dpi then crop the image you are working with and save as a jpg. Then you can insert the jpg as a pic in whatever word doc program you are running then save to pdf.

Clear as mud huh?! laugh out loud
Yes, but it should make more sense when I am actually use those prorgams.

I have taught a coupon class too, it was for free and I showed how to combine MQ + storeQ like Wags, Rite Aid, Target. Price matching at Walmart. I also told them to go to HCW. lol! I had a little display of a few past deals for free items at Wags and RA and had the coupons used in front of the items.

Been to town and back. Stopped at the lake with Heidi for the first time this spring. The ice finally melted and the car fell through either last Monday or a week ago Monday.

This dog is ball crazy but I don't have one in the car. I have a doggy Frisbee -- it's a really soft rubbery material that won't hurt their mouth if it smashes in. She didn't like it last year, but what the heck, I didn't have a ball. I threw it. She caught it and promptly carried it to the lake and dropped it in. I fished it back out and threw it again. My aim is horrible. It flew right out in the lake. Now, mind you, this is a $7 dog toy and I am cheap. It finally floated close enough that I could snag it with a 6' tree limb. Got it back, threw it again -- this time NOT in the lake. Damn dog fetched it, ran straight at me with it, veered left, shook her head and flung it back in the lake. I will be putting a ball in the van.

:
I guess she is telling you she doesn't like the frisbee all that much, or she likes watching you fish it out of the lake. Did you look over at her? I bet she was over there watching you & rotlfhas! Hope you get your furnace working right. It is so cold here today, just above freezing and snowing and raining off and on. Ugh! I am so ready for Spring!

Sounds like a crazy trip and so sad about grandma. I don't understand that and old people dying freak me out too. It was super sad seeing my grandma when she was dying. She couldn't talk and she did seem scared. She was so frail and helpless. I was worried that is the way I would always remember her and I do think of it from time to time but I mostly think about her when she was younger and the grandma I had growing up who was fun to visit and active.
