Nephew's airway is swollen, not sure if it is from his surgery last week ( they changed his central line to a double for the transplant) He has been admitted, and they have pushed back the transplant. I fly out a week from tonight. Totally bummed. If I feel this bad about it, how do his parents feel? Darn.
Very sorry to hear Lisa hug Pray everything works out to your nephew's side with the transplant and he gets better very soon hug

Hi, everybody! Wave

Sorry to hear, Lisa, about your nephew. I can't even imagine what you all are going through. Frown Prayers for you and yours!! hug

Missions conference at our church this week, starting tonight, so things are gonna get crazy. I love it, but its a hectic, hectic week, and getting Jaden to school on time in the morning is always a struggle, let alone being out 'til 9 or later every night.

Hubby had to be at work at 5:30 this morning, which sucks for him, but is GREAT for me, 'cause it means I can run out shopping as soon as he gets home!! Gonna hit up T and RA and hopefully get back in time to throw dinner on the table and get the kids ready for church.

You know something silly? I have been watching Swagbucks TV to earn swagbucks - I just keep it running in a different browser and keep clicking it to keep playing while I'm doing my other stuff. Anyway, I've been "watching" the food videos, starting with Paula Deen. She was making her ultimate PB sandwich, and it sounded so good, I made it for the kids for lunch!!! Teehee Her version is PB & banana slices on bread, butter both sides, and grill like a grilled cheese. But the magic is when its done, you coat both sides with cinnamon/sugar. Big Grin I didn't have bananas, so I just did PB&J, but it was super yummy. I stole a wedge from my daughter...shhh, don't tell.

OK, off to organize my desk as I get ready for my shopping this afternoon!!!

And

Shut the front door!!!

That is a product that I buy without a coupon on a regular basis! I've picked up some Robert's milk here and there with their IP but quality/flavor does not compare!
Same here. Now if we got a nice little TQ, that would be awesome.

Big Grin

I'm soooo so so tired. I can't shake it today. I hate late/early days.

I think I messed up my arm a little. I kept feeling this huge lump on my forearm near my elbow and I just realized that it is the arm I have been carrying the baby carrier with lately. It's kind of swollen and tender to the touch. I am wondering if I gave myself a deep bruise or something. Bah. I'm falling apart!!

I have done 4 loads of laundry today. It feels like a lot, but hardly looks like a dent. I did a good 3 or 4 yesterday. I still have a ton left to do. Yeah. Cleaning the kids' room and found where all our stuff had been - stuffed under the bed, in bags, and in the closet. If my oldest hadn't just had surgery, I would be Blowup Now I feel like I have to be uber nag and will have to follow behind her every step. I don't know if we will survive the teen years if this is how it will be. :banghead: I'm half tempted to take it all to the laundromat tonight when DH gets home - throw it in the big machines and get it done. Probably cost half a fortune!

Got some turkey soup going and a fresh loaf of bread ready to bake. Smells so good in this house right now. Thinking I need some brownies... Chocolate anything really.

So you have seen the new pics she posted for 5 months! He is wearing most of what I got him for Christmas! Every little boy needs Osh Kosh overalls! His godfather holding him snoozing is my older brother, and Grandpa making funny faces is my Dad. I don't resemble either of them! Wink

Couldn't agree more. Someone once told me that a 2 year old will knock a glass of water off the table to see what happens to the glass and a 3 year old will knock a glass of water off the table to see how YOU react. Totally true.

And then the 3 year old will do it again the next day b/c they remembered how much fun it was to watch you race around wiping up the water Coverlaugh

Hawaiin Haystacks:

http://www.food.com/recipe/awesom...acks-32733

I use cream of chicken instead of mushroom and after the chicken is cooked I shred it and then put the soup and chicken in the crock pot. (I don't add butter, salt, or flour I just mix milk with the soup and then add the chicken and dump in crock) You can add all kinds of different toppings, we usually also have olives, manderine oranges, carrot shreds, and bowls of crackers and snacks for the little kids. It is super easy and great for a big crowd. I will usually also have a big green salad and some kind of fruit salad. Oh and a 7 layer dip and chips. That way there is something for everybody (well unless they just want a big burger) and minimal cooking time since you can prep everything during the week before. I always cook and shred the chicken a day ahead so all I have to do is toss it in the crock pot. The rice and the crock pot are the only things I have cooking on the day of.
You end up with the crock and a big bowl of rice on the counter and all your cereal bowl full of toppings so everyone can build their own.

Ingredients:Servings:
10Servings Size

1/2 lb butter (1/4 lb optional)
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 quarts milk
2 teaspoons salt
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
3 cooked chicken breasts
1 can sliced mushrooms
pineapple tidbits
chopped green onion
grated cheddar cheese
coconut
slivered almond
chow mein noodles
cooked rice
celery
Change Measurements: US | Metric

Directions:
Prep Time: 30 mins

Total Time: 40 mins
1- Cook chicken and cut into bite size pieces.
2- Melt butter in large pan.
3- Add flour, salt and milk.
4- Stir well.
5- Add 2 cans of Cream of Mushroom soup, can of mushrooms and chicken.
6- Simmer.
7- Cook rice with rice cooker, amount for number of people to feed.
8- Layer on plate: Rice, Chow mein noodles, Soup mixture, Pineapple, Cheese, Celery, Green onions, Coconut, Almonds, and Soy sauce.

I was wondering about the Horizion too, does T carry it? I can't remember. Roll about the farting car, it does sound kinda like that. I was next to some 16 yr old girls (well they were very young and silly) and they were jammin out head banging at the stop light and goofing off... sigh... might be nice to have just a moment of that young and carefreeness, no worries, no kids.

No are they on FB? Maybe you could friend me? Wink I would love to see. I agree on the Osh Kosh overalls, to cute!
