I'm looking for opinions on what to name our baby girl. I'm due the 29th, but I think she is going to make a much earlier arrival. I'm panicking b/c we don't have a name picked out yet. I figured that I could get some honest answers here. I had one of these from the list below stuck in my head for the past two months, then all of sudden, my hubby decides that he *dislikes* the name and that it is too old fashioned. I've never allowed family to know the names of our children ahead of time due to the *input* (aka backlash) that we would receive. (Why don't you use this name / start it with this letter / you can't let him be named after X.) Some have already started giving input with this one, but I just make it a rule that they have to wait.

My hubby, has only given me one name that he likes (I absolutely hate it.) It's going to come down to me giving him this list, and he can pick it. Any thoughts, opinions and ideas are welcome. None are family names. Hubby just kept bringing up Grace and Faith for middle names for some reason, so I am trying to incorporate it.

Elliana Madelyn Grace
Natalie / Natalee Faith Avery



My son is Anthony Erik Andrew and my daughter is Kaylana Jolene Marie. My husband was the only one out of seven kids that my in-laws gave two middle names to, so it's something that he wanted to carry on.

If you're wondering what the name is that my husband likes - Alexjavia (Alex-A-via) I really don't like alex or any girl form of it and there are at least 6 of them in the extended family already.

Hmmmmm Tigerz.....

Will preface this with the fact that I am a fan of 'unique'-ish names; my dd's name is Evalee (EH-vah-lee) and she has two middle names too: Evalee Cristal Lauren..... The middle names are versions of the names of dh's mom and my mom, we wanted to give our kids each one middle name that reflected each side of the family Smilie

That said, I like Natalee and Elliana the best....Avery has been way, way, way used a lot around here so if it were me I wouldn't choose that one but it's just personal preference....still a cute name! I really like the twist on 'Natalie' to make it 'Natalee.' And Elliana has always been a favorite of mine!

I like all of the middle names!

I am sure that whatever you name her will be adorable! Any chance of waiting until she is born to see which name you think'd fit her best? I've heard of some parents doing that?

I like Elliana Madelyn Grace. I wanted to name her Ava Layne but DH said it sounded like a stripper name. She's the baby girl with 3 older brothers so we wanted something a little on the soft side. All of your choices are beautiful though. Good luck.

Thank you Target, for having exactly TWO Purex Crystals in stock for me tonight. Sad it's come to this! They also had plenty of the Airwick White kits that Bronc posted about for $4.24. Too bad I had to leave most of them there because I only had 1 $4 coupon left. All my printables expired and I can't print more yet. Frown

Wonder what Mr SD will be pranking us with for April Fools? I'm ready for midnight, it's usually something that freaks us out at first. I remember the rick roll avatars, custom user titles, flip text and strange color themes.

Oh, and the Kraft shreds are up to $2.69 at my store too! They had been $2.04 forever, hoping for another sale before the TQ expires. laugh out loud
