If you have a pressure cooker, that will make excellent broth and the meat will fall apart and it cooks fast. But you can do the same thing with long, slow cooking. Brown it on both sides -- high heat and brown almost until it burns then flip it and do the other side. Then add hot water and all that stuff that stuck on the bottom will bubble loose. If you want it for noodles, cover (fill pan) with water and cook away. If you just want roast, add an inch of two of water and don't let it go dry. Lower heat and cook until you can't pick it up with a fork. Now I am hungry for pot roast and I don't think I have one.
I do believe the pineapple upside down cake is good (I haven't had any) but DH has had 3 pieces already -- and I expect he will be having another with his coffee soon.

Mavis is tired and crying, my toddler is driving me bonkers, my oldest is cranky also (but apparently feeling better), and DH is working... I have a giant mound of laundry that is dry but not folded/sorted/put away and I think I'm feeling overwhelmed right now.
I am going to eat a piece of cherry pie, drink some coffee, and hopefully get out of this dumb funk today.
My toddler was feeling not so great the other day, and we just snuggled and watched movies all day.. did a princess marathon watching little mermaid, beauty and the beast, tangled, etc..
Nothing got done around here.. but we had fun!

Has anyone ordered from Lorihas3kids lately? I don't think I will again. I ordered late last sunday and just now got my order. She's in FL, so I didn't think it would take that long to get here!
Speaking of dasani and friendly coupons.. I just printed some BOGO powerade coupons from coupons.com I was able to get 3 prints.. And there was a goldfish coupon that gave me 4 prints
I printed those Powerade too. I was very surprised to see them up. Printed the goldfish. Are you using yours at Publix this week on the 10/$10? Wish they doubled...
Must go sun myself for 20 minutes before showering. Boys are asleep. Went to the flea market & park this morning, scratching the afternoon beach plans for the wildlife park (at their request)! Fine with me...saves about 90 minutes of driving and a buttload of gas.
