I just went to deals and noticed the thread was moved.

Nikayla, I have that message from time to time. I have to go to the control panel, select the printer, delete it, then immediately click on "add printer", select the correct one, and it prints correctly after that. I have a wireless, but I would think a wired one would do okay with this procedure too. Hope that helps!
I will try that next thanks. I went to the brother site last night and followed directions to uninstall and reinstall the driver, it didn't work. Frown

No restraining it only breeds angst.
Retraining is what is required. It is also done in a way that the unsuspecting husband has no clue it is happening and more so the husband will actually think he has the control over everything. bounce
Morning/afternoon hug I agree on the retraining. DH has agreed to do the kids rooms, we will see how that goes. They are in need of a major overhaul or I mean junk haul out. He says he can tell I am to burnt out and overwhelmed. Um yeah, let me be the one working partying in Vegas for three weeks while he is the sole provider of all to the kids, house, etc 24/7.

I picked up 2 of the Qs for it a week or so ago but haven't bought any yet; so what is your review on the cooking creme? worth it or not and which flavor? The $1.99 price makes it much more appealing the regular price.
I made the one where you cook the chicken and veggies for about 8 to 12 minutes and then add the cooking cream and cook for 2 to 4 minutes more. My pickiest loved it but she doesn't like much flavoring. It was pretty good but I like spicy so to me it needed more flavoring. It does make a pretty easy meal, oh I added a package of that microwave uncle bens brown rice to it, didn't microwave it, just added it in once the chicken was cooked. I figured with the rice made it a complete meal.

I'll post reviews tomorrow.

Maybe we should have a TCC Swap Meet where we all post pictures of "thingies" we thought we just had to have and later realized... ummm... Not so much! Could ship to the person who wants the item and when they arrive reimburse that person the postage via paypal. Just a thought. Goodness knows, I have plenty of thingies I'm not going to use anymore and I'm not sure I can push any more kitchen stuff off on my DIL; her cupboards barely shut anymore as it is. Hmmm... they would shut better if I took the chopper thingie off her hands...laugh out loud
That would be fun, and funny. I have no idea why I ordered a baby bottle drying rack from Amazon, it looked cool I guess and I thought I would use it for sippy cups. Not so much, I don't want it on the counter and I put the sippy cups in the dishwasher. I actually tried to cancell my order right after I placed it since it was more than I wanted to spend but it was 3 am or something and I didn't click the correct cancell button.

I love the rice idea! The Mr.'s not big on noodles but LOVES rice.

Any ideas on how to organize a Swap Meet... just post pictures here or create a new thread? Maybe I should ask TM4D because she organized the coffee swap really well (I guess I should have ask her first before kind of suggesting... Oops!)

You don't need a special bowl to cook pasta in the microwave. Any micro safe bowl is fine. I used to cook macaroni in a glass bowl a lot. Glass because it's what I have, I don't like plastic. Directions were right right on the mac-n-cheese box. It says 1 3/4 cups of water, cook uncovered.
They took the micro directions off the mac n cheese box once they started selling Easy Mac.
Don't think they wanted people to realize how easy it was to do it on their own, without paying extra for the fancy packaging. laugh out loud

I have the Pampered Chef batter bowl (think that's what its called?) and its awesome. The lid, however, is NOT leak-proof, so when its full of liquid, its tricky to handle it without spilling.

And muffies, I have the Tupperware Quick Chef. *hide...* Just used it this afternoon, actually. Love that thing. Worth every penny. But ... I don't have a regular food processor, so I don't know if I'm missing out or not in that respect, as far as having other blades and whatnot.

But yeah, I love any kitchen tool that is well-made and saves me time. Wish I had a bigger kitchen!!!

I am hosting the Russia table tonight at our International Dinner at church, and I pretty much have everything ready to go. Far different from any other year I've done this. We've always been rushing to get to church on time, because I've not managed my time well. Yay for things working out MUCH better this year!!!

I made:
- borscht
- olivie salad
- tomato/cucumber salad
- pickled cucumbers (with salt, not vinegar, and they are uh-MAZE-ing!!!)
- apple cake
- tvorog rolls (rolls with a soft cheese topping)
- butterbrodie (basically simple sandwiches)

Made me nostalgic for Russia. (for those who don't know/forgot I lived there for 5 years 95-2000)

Anyway, HUGS to whoever needs them today (can't remember who bunnies said we all needed to hug, so everyone gets one... Big Grin)

Apparently no one knows what he was asking. People are asking him questions to try to clarify it...

Now it seems like he is asking if there is a difference if you scan the coupon or type in the numbers on the bar code....

I think his "sigh" and "Jeeeeesh" comments to you were TOTALLY uncalled for!!!!

EEK!
He outright disrespects someone in the thread, but if someone calls him on it, he says they are cluttering up the thread with nonsense?

And yeah.. I got a pm telling me he didn't want to argue in the thread but he was frustrated because she answered him incorrectly twice (stating the verbiage was wrong when he was asking about the barcode...)

My response:

Your frustration was apparent.

Perhaps you have the right to be frustrated. I don't know. If you take into account that other posters are also asking questions trying to clarify what it is that you want to know, it might be easier to understand that maybe HD didn't understand exactly what you were trying to find out.

I am not saying it was wrong to inform HD that you wanted to know something other than what she told you.

I am saying that the sigh and the jeeesh were uncalled for.

HD is not someone who just comes in flippantly answering questions. HD is a very respected member of this forum. She is helpful. She is straight. She tries to help when she can - but rarely gets involved in drama.

I know you cannot totally go by rep count, but if you look at HD's post count and rep count that might give you some idea of the level of her contribution to these forums.

I do not think she tried to be flippant to you. And she is certainly not stupid. I think she tried to answer what she thought you were asking to the best of her ability. She tried to be helpful.

I do not think she deserved your outright disrespect of her attempt to help, regardless of how frustrated you were.

Yep! I knew bunnies would handle it!! Wink

(Maybe we should also include something on how to abuse store policies in with our posts and so they won't be deleted by mods...) Wink

Similac coupons out? Hmmm, gotta get me some of those. Will be at BIL's house this week. Wonder what they would think if they came home from the hospital one night and found the house full of bottles of formula? The look on his face would be worth what I would have to pay a clipper site for the coupons!!

Ack! Now he is telling me that bunnies and I have done in the thread exactly what we accused him of... and that we should self-censor our own posts...

????

Did I attack someone who was trying to help me? Confused
