I don't know if this is at all HyVee Drug stores, but one of mine is offering free milk for a year with a prescription transfer (can't be from any HyVee affiliates) so I gave them a call for details and seems the promo will be going on for awhile (she didn't know how long for sure) and after the transfer you can go in once a month with a punch card and they will give you 4 certificates for a half gallon of milk each month. 24 gallons of free milk a year... WINNING!

pffflt, a half gallon of milk a WEEK!?!? I mean, I love free stuff but we drink a GALLON a DAY here. Can each person of your household get the free milk with thier own script? If so That could add up!, I dont know what I'm bitching about though I dont even have a HyVee. And I guess 24 gallons of milk is a lot more than K or RAs best $25 GC, but then I think you can do that 3 or 4x a year so It might all even out.
We go through 3-4 gallons a week here too. I just paid $3.49 for a gallon of 2% today. I didn't even look at the price at the store, just grabbed it.
Jawdrop when I looked at the receipt when I got home.
No HyVee around here, but thanks for posting Smilie

nod We go through 5-6 gallons of milk a week. Its the same price here as well, but they do have the deal here where if you buy 2 gallons at a time, you can pay *only* $2.89 a gallon. I always buy 2 gallons at a time. Smilie

LMAOYou are so right.

laugh out loud Yeah I doubt that'd make a dent in a lot of ppl's milk consumption but kinda wondering if it was geared towards older folks who probably don't consume quite as much milk being 1-2 person households....but are likely to be on more prescriptions maybe Dontknow And no I'm not insinuating that anyone here is old LMAO

I haven't checked the CR/Marion ones yet, just the Mt.P store. I'll give C Ave a call tomorrow and see if they are promoting the same offer and I'd assume if they are, they would be in all of our area.

We just started it and she said "Here I have 78 rolls of TP and 87 rolls of PT" and my DH burts out "but how much eyeliner do you have" - I almost pissed myself.

The part where she told her DH to clear the shelf and he said he didn't even mustard made me sick. Farking S&Ger.

uhmahgawd! Really, maybe she could use all her savings to take a make up class (but then maybe it would teach her the illegal way of putting on make up). That fugging eyeshadow is killing me. That is not a smokey eye, and come on rubber heel boots to get 4 overflowing shopping carts of mustard that a family of 5 could not consume in 3 life times!?!?!? I hate this trainwreck. oh and ps who has the Budding Q info? just wondering if the Q stated package ounces.

She is a disgrace to couponers... I better not run into her at any of my stores.

I'm trying to figure out when I can get my busy ass to T this week. Ugh.

If you read some of the comments on the fb page people make it sound like it's all set up, but it sure as crap doesn't look like pop-collar-bitach pre-ordered any of her crap. Any WTF with all the multiple transactions. My cashiers would not be excited about that.

Soooo excited for ya'll. Have the other kids met baby Thrift yet?? hug

May-berry is fairing pretty well. She was a bit crankier today, so I tried some pain reliever and that seemed to perk her up. In spite of the cast, she is managing to figure a way to get around pretty well. She scooted herself to the back door and sat looking out the window. She was pointing and patting the glass and saying "car" ever-so-often. I don't know if she actually was associating the word with the cars going past, but since I"m her biased mom and think she's super smart, I'll say she knows exactly what she's talking about. *laugh* I also think she was saying "crocodile", but my hubby says I must be nuts.

At any rate, she is doing pretty good. Needs lots of mommy snuggles. I was soooo depressed after we got home from the docs today because my kitchen was a stinking mess. I was also very tired, so I decided I would take the baby and go lay down with her. I figured "pfft" dishes, mess, it'll all wait. I need sleep and snugglies with my dear May-may. Well, I must say that my teenager stepped up the game big time. She kept my toddler busy and I never heard a peep. She also cleaned up the kitchen and took care of 99% of the mess. I had a good 2 hour nap! I can't even believe how good I felt when I woke up. It was great.

I have also determined that I just don't have time or enough emotional energy to waste on feeling guilty. So I won't. Mavis is doing well - it could've been worse and I'm am extremely grateful that it isn't. God has been good to me, and we have been blessed with great docs and friends that have offered all kinds of encouragement and support. It's been a good experience.

DH and I decided we would submit to the bank for pre-approval for a home loan. I thought for sure we would be turned down and that it would give us an idea of what we needed to do to get to a point where we would be approved, but we actually got an approval for $125K. Talk about being shocked. The payment - after taxes and insurance - would be $100 more than what we are paying now on our little town home rental if we went with the max. We don't want to do that, so we are trying to keep it between $80-90K. It's not much, but it'll do. So DH wants to start looking at houses. I'm terrified now! It's a big step and a big commitment. We would have to come up with 3.5% for a down payment. We had always said we'd wait until we had 10%, so it's kind of scary to think of starting now. We have nothing saved! Any emergency savings we had have been eaten up with medical bill payments, and of course, now there are more medical bills coming! This should be a fun summer trying to find ways to bring in some cash, but I suspect I'll figure something out.
