Thrift, congrats on the new little one!
Nothing much going on here. Dh called me today as I was leaving T, to tell me that his transmission went out. He only has 27,000 miles on his Ford POS.

transmission failures are fairly common in fords and jeeps. i personally know of 2 fords and 2 jeeps where transmissions failed. all 4 had fewer than 60k miles on em. it's a known issue.
praying that they don't hassle him and get him the rental quick.

Thinkin' of hitting T today, and my new shiny Wags has a $3 off $10 ivc for the Grand Opening so I have to take full advantage of that but haven't read the thread and only glaced the ad but have been getting the Always for 2/$6 - $2qx2 get $4rr, they are out of Colgate, got a few 3/$1 easter crap, and Purex - it didn't work on Milk (didn't know Wags was getting that smart) and got the Pepsi 4/$13 get back $3 but the RR isn't printing so they are price modding it to 4/$10 -$3/$10 ivc = $1.75 a case.

The lady after her was alright, a little annoying but totally understand couponing for a family of 9. Plus teaching your kids the value of a $1 is important.
Do you all think that TLC gave th 1 shot at a run? If they would re-shoot a segment, no way I'd want them to show me having to call 5 friends in to help.

I would really like them to focus on 1 person in 1 show, show her entire run that she is doing..items bought, cpns used etc...

I did notice on her receipt, that she had some high value coupons. I forget the products and the amount, but it was something like $8.00 off and one for $9.00 off. So I am thinking she got some coupons for free items, or even worse.
From now on, I am going by J'ill....now will someone please hand me my coupon binder and eyeliner....

Having a GS tomorrow. Excited and nervous since DB tried to talk me out of doing it on a Friday. Typically, Friday is better than Saturday but this is a new location. Hopefully I will prove him wrong. My car is FULL. I planned on doing another run today but I have no idea how I will fit it.

One of the other things that irritates me about the shows is when they say things like "I have saved $40,000". Well, no, not really. They might have accumulated $40,000 worth of product, but they didn't "save" $40,000 unless they would have purchased all that stuff even without the coupons.
And having to call in friends to come check out... what's the matter with the camera man, sound man, director, etc... Aren't they people? Oh wait... maybe they are supposed to be invisible and not really there. Suuuurrrre.

I feel like I'm waking up from the dead. Yesterday, I was so sick, I couldn't get out of bed. Hubby stayed home and took care of the kids so I could stay passed out on the bed. I seriously couldn't move, everything hurt so bad. Even threw up the glass of water I had to drink with the meds.
I feel much better today, well enough to walk around at least. But my son is sick, so we are all staying home. Was hoping to make it to the recycling center one last time this week, since I've only picked up 6 sets, but I'm gonna be happy with what I got. Not worth risking vomit mess in the van.

Ank, your littles ones are so precious, and I am so glad you decided to let go of the mommy-guilt. The good thing is - she's so young, she'll never remember this, thus she will never hold it against you.
