Staples is having a thingy this week.

Buy $50.00 worth of ink and on that SAME day, if you recycle old ink cartridges, they will give you $5.00 per each one. So it ends up being free.

What I am planning is buy 4 inks @ 14.99 = $59.96
A filler item to get me over $60.00 then use $10.00 off $50.00 coupon to bring me back down to $50.00 recycle my 10 cartridges and get me $50.00 back in staples rewards.

Is it OK to use $10.00 on $50.00? As I see it my ink purchase is still over $50.00
:
if you haven't done the ink at staples yet, you might want to consider this scenario.

I so need to do this. I have a Brother Color Laser that has decided to die on me. Keep getting a message that I have paper stuck inside and can't clear. It has 5, I think, toner cartridges that I could turn in.

Does laser count for this deal? I need a new laser toner for my HP mono.

I think the toner has a different deal: buy 2 toners get $20 pre-paid visa card. Not sure what you get from recycling them. Also, I think the Shell rebate [biggestbook.com] is only for ink.

L2B - your little baby was so dang cute, she did a great job for learning by ear!!

Ank & Jamie & everyone with sick kids and dh's ((hugs))

I stopped at T and broke down and got that Baby Trend tandem stroller that converts to a sit n stand and only used my 10% registry coupon. Kinda hurts to shop without tou-pons! I felt a little nekkid!!! I did use a nice stash of GCs to pay for it. I needed to get it today as I have to take Noah and JJ to Noah's 1 week appt on Tues...All. By. Myself. Containing JJ is not an easy feat! I shouldn't have lifted that damn box into the cart and then my car as I now have some abdominal pain and heavier bleeding.
Comfort Take it easy mama. That's what they hire those cute high school boys for! I had to buy stuff right around when the baby was born, too - minus toupons, minus shenanigans and I felt sick Sick Can't remember what else I was gonna say b/c I keep getting interrupted over here Mad Dang kids

I'll send the kids right over.

Oh hey! I have a question for ya - I'm going to make the noodles BUT I made the meat in the crockpot. So, now what do I do? Turn the heat up and do the noodles in there or boil them in the broth on the stove?

If you put those kids in the pool now they will turn into little popsicles.

You need to put the broth on the stove. It needs to be at a good boil to drop the noodles and you just can't keep it hot enough in a crock pot.

As you drop noodles if it stops boiling, just pop the lid on and wait a minute or two til it comes back up to a boil.

I just kind of push the noodles out of my way and drop them one or two at a time in a bare spot. Push, plop.

I'm kind of cold from messing with that icy pool water, hot noodles sound pretty good. But we are having ravioli and pull apart yeast rolls. They are sitting out there all nice and puffy, ready to bake.

Ravioli and yeast rolls sound delish :yum:

I re-read your directions on the noodles and saw you said full boil so I knew to use the stove. I got it all done - noodles are way too fat LOL but they'll be edible. Do you thicken with anything? It seems like a lot of noodles and not much meat but I used a whole roast. Dontknow It's got a light gravyish palor but nothing actually thick and dippable if that makes any sense.

Thanks to everyone for their recommendations for the ear. The Hyland's drops seem to be working. He cried like the dickens for the first two doses, but this third dose, didn't even flinch. Guess that means the inflammation is going down. Still has a 100.0 fever, even with Motrin, so still no school tomorrow. Poor guy.

Good news is my sister came over and watched TV with the kids so I was able to get my kitchen cleaned and some other straightening done. My house is far from clean, but at least its a start. Amazing what a week of being sick does!

And I am slowly but surely getting my binder filled with coupons. Yay!! So ready to get current, so I can just deal with each week's inserts, instead of the past 8 months. Faint

And thrift, I totally can sympathize with you about the projectile poop. Can't even count the times we got hit. And it usually happened Sunday morning, when hubby was already dressed for church. Big Grin He learned ... finally ... to not change his children when in his Sunday best.

M2C, like Gator said...take it one box at a time. I'm at 10 months in my house and still not fully unpacked and organized. Hell, who am I kidding...I'll never be fully organized! laugh out loud

Does anyone know if T carries extra large receiving blankets? I looked online and didn't see anything. Little Houdini, just like big brother, breaks out of his swaddle in a regular sized one. We have 1 miracle blanket, but it's in the wash because of the aforementioned projectile pooping.
I have this [target.com] for Mavis and absolutely love it.
