Morning Hun. Is she teething? It is entirely possible she is picking up crud that is making her sick, however, her temp comes and goes, which makes me think she might be teething. We are doing better over here. The fevers are gone, but, the house as a whole all feel tired and just not normal.

Dreeme...I'm glad your baby was home last night. hug
On Saturday, the doc said teething fevers range around the low 100.X - a low 101.X - she's up around 103.X before meds. I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't also get her checked for a kidney/bladder infection just in case. Frown Today she *is* very very snotty though - so probably has something to do with that. *sigh*

She is also definitely teething. I have the multiple bite marks to prove it!!

Maybe we just have back to back creeping crud and haven't been good enough about not tracking things in the house. We do have our little neighbor girl coming over still, so I wonder if she is bringing junk over. She doesn't typically seem to be sick when coming over though. Dontknow

Glad to hear ya'll are feeling better. It's amazing how long it takes to recover from stuff sometimes.

Ank, Jaden is struggling with an ear infection right now and his temps before meds at one point were 103. I would definitely think that high a temp is indicative of some type of infection. With her being congested, possibly an ear infection? Dontknow That's all the mommy wisdom I have to offer. hug And I have to say the Hylands drops plus Motrin are working wonders. He woke up crying a little this morning, but that was after sleeping through the night. Once I got the drops in and the Motrin down, he has been fine, even ate a pancake for breakfast.

I am going to attempt a run or two at CVS this week. Anyone a pro there and have some simple scenarios?

And bunnies - good morning! Big Grin

I had her checked Saturday and all was clear, but now that it's been a few days I was contemplating taking her back to the doc.

These docs are going to have a great year with my family... No recession in their wallets... *laugh*

I think I am going to down another cup of coffee then see if my teen will get up and watch my toddler monkey.

It's called Kapusta. Super duper yummy. Just make sure it's egg noodles and not pasta. Makes all the difference. Add extra's if you like...garlic, pepper, kielbasa, mushrooms etc...drool

I grew up on this and still love it today...

Another day has begun with copious amounts of babeh poop! Whee

Noah has been such a good boy at night. He was up at 12 and 3:30 to eat then I woke him at 7 to eat again. I know his little sleeping pattern will change and change again, but I'll take what he's giving me for now!!!

Happy 1 week bday to my squishy new boy! I wonder if he'll have dimples like the other 2. With JJ we saw them in the delivery room.

Ank I hope you figure out what baby Mavis is fighting. hug

Well, damn girl. I guess that's why the good Lord wraps our burdens in blessings. Otherwise, we just wouldn't make it. Yelling is something I was pretty bad at too -- or maybe I should say, I was too good at it. Hang in! hug

Hmmm, I so much want to say I want these. That gives me two weeks to get to Target. I have a hunch I'm going to have to go that way for pool floc so, yeah, if you haven't found a home for them yet. If you have, don't worry about it, I did some a while back.

Crazy weather. It's supposed to be 70 today and possibly snow the end of the week with lows in the 20's.

The pool is filled and filtering. I have a long way to go before it's gets pretty... unless you like this particular shade of green. Right now I am just working on vacuuming the debris off the bottom. That's on today's agenda. Yeah, I cover it in the winter but you still get dirt and some crap in there when you take off the tarp. And I swear there are leaf fairies that spend the winter poking one leaf at a time under the tarp and into the pool.

I picked up 8 jugs of bleach at Dollar General yesterday. Then I stood there feeling really stupid. I think there is a $5/$25 IP that I could have printed and gotten 2 more gallons free.

I'm still looking to beat their price for 6% bleach at $2.50 for 1.42 gallons. If there truly is a $5/$25 often enough to keep me supplied, then it will make it $2 jug.

Now, I must refill this coffee cup.

No Oxiclean for me either. I am sad because I brought in my last box of Biz last night. I got a bunch a while back when we got the $2 or $3 coupons on any size -- made them about $0.67 each. I used to use knock off Oxiclean from Dollar General (Sun $5 for a bucket) in my white bath towels but they quit carrying it. That was about the same time as the Biz deal. Don't know what I will do now.

On the upside, I just had to get out a new jug of laundry detergent and I cannot remember when I got out the last one. Seems like they last a really long time. They are the big (100 oz?) -- the dispenser jugs of All Free and Clear. Those came from KMart doubles ($2, no limit). I had $2 coupons and for some reason the Free and Clear was a lot cheaper than the others -- I think it was $5.99 or $6.99 -- made it $2 or $3 for the huge jugs. I stocked up. I wrote the date on this one to see just how long it does last.

So one load folded, one more in the washer, coffee cup filled. Entertain me.

And I must refill also. Got the kids set up at the table coloring, my kitchen is clean, time to take a little break and sip coffee. Smilie

Quote from dreemedayze :
Good news! Tanner is home.
The psychiatrist diagnosed him with 4 disorders, 2 of which we knew about. Mood Disorder NOS, PDD NOS, and the two we knew of: ADHD and Selective Mutism.
In other news, I'm upset with his school because he has (and always has had) an IEP in place for special services. The school re-evaluated him and decided that he no longer qualifies for services because the issues are not at school but rather at home. I think he still needs the services. (special help with reading and math) Though he seemed to score right above or below the 50th percentile, he still has many struggles. I refused to sign the paper and disagreed. I don't know for sure where we go from here but I won't go out without a fight.
Glad to hear the good news! As for the school, placement decisions can only be made by the IEP team. They get 1 vote, parents get the other. A decision can not be made without you. So, request "Prior Written Notice" on their decision to remove him from special educational services. Then tell them (in writing) that if they proceed to remove him from sped ed services, you wish to invoke the "stay put" clause of IDEA while you proceed with due process.
I realize this doesn't explain anything, but it gives you a starting point when talking to an educational advocate, or doing your own research in IDEA.
In the meantime, be doing everything you can to support your argument that he needs to stay in spec ed (for example: test scores, behavior, lack of social skills & decision making skills, evaluations, notes from drs & therapists, etc.)
Oh, & about their "re-eval" - if you disagree w/ it, you are entitled to an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) at their expense. You get to pick who does the eval, they pay. Just request it in writing.
In other news, there is still a Target in my town, & I still haven't been for awhile.Mad

My Keurig is short cupping, as they call it. Doesn't dispense enough water for the size selected.

Good news is they are sending me another machine. I just have to mail back the k-cup holder from the old machine. I bought this one in July 2010.

I have used vinegar to clean it out twice and cleaned the little needle.

Hi all! Just popping in to ay hi! I am stressed. I work full-time and my house is a MESS and I have a First Communion lunch planned for May 15. EEK!

I am having a meat/cheese tray for sandwiches.Anyone have any suggestions for good and easy side dishes that I can make? I am looking for something that I can make a day (or 2) in advance and either warm up that morning or serve right from the fridge. We will be in church right before so I don't want to be cooking that day. Any advance from you al would be much appreciated....oh and even better if I can buy everything from Target Wink
