Sorry Mobile can't multiquote....but yeah mot2 I make her take a nap when I know she needs it....trouble is she will NOT go down w/o a fight until she is just so tired that she's worn herself out! She will fight me until she has nothing left and when she's pooped then she will finally give in. It is not even worth the battle unless I am dead certain that she's tired enough to nap. Got her down after a fight today and now she is up and we're at the park. Part of it is that what have my niece here (too old/doesn't need a nap most days) and dd is smart enough to know that she is up...plus she just wants to be with her all day... it isn't just when she's tired though that we have this problem she is so strong-willed.

Yeah... gotta give baby sponge baths because of the cast. It helps for a bit. I think she was kind of delirious for a bit. She was giggling weirdly at nothing and making funny noises. She's acting a little better, but definitely looks pitifully sick. Lots of snugglies here.

Left handed typing is awkward.

Mine were always open to that. We would get all snuggled up and my eyes would start to shut and then they would talk and talk and talk. Which would have been fine except that they actually expected me listen and answer them. Rotten kids. I swear, both of mine blew out he candles on their first birthday cake and instantly stopped napping.

I grew up with a couponing single Mom for 7 years of my life. She was one smart cookie even in the late 60s and early 70s, as she picked the loss leaders from 4 grocery stores, and then shopped for the rest at the friday store and planned all her meals around what was on sale and couponed with the 7¢, 10¢, and 15¢ off coupons. When my brother went off to school my parents really hadn't saved for a college fund, so my Mama's check basically got turned over to brother in college, so we went from a dual income family of 4 to a single income family of 3 when I was 14.

Couponing comes naturally to me. I will admit that I never couponed to this extent until my SIL (and her brood) got started couponing. I do it to help out my brother and SILs family mostly now.

Can you give some fever reducer to her..alternate motrin and tylenol...washclothes soaked in cold water and kept on her forhead might also help...hug

Yep. I wish they smelled like that all the time. My kids were both smelled like a hot sweaty mess today.

I have the biggest headache known to mankind and I have one kid that is still refusing bedtime. Guess which one? Yeah. I wonder if his medicine makes him kinda riled up instead of drowsy.

Stupid farking psychiatrist doesn't think he needs to be back on ADHD meds even though he's CLEARLY struggling with it and in need of the meds. Our main hope is that when he transfers out of the hospital care and goes to a regular psych we can get more things going for him, med wise.

He goes there for partial care so he comes home at night. So far, no huge meltdown. The meds are a mood stabilizer and are very quick acting. (reach effectiveness within 2 days and max effectiveness by 2 weeks) I've noticed a difference but I wouldn't say the difference is astounding aside from the fact that he hasn't had a meltdown yet. He's gotten close but we've been able to refrain from it turning into a huge disaster.

I think I'm going to start a blog so I can keep track of things with tanner, so maybe it will help other people, and so I have somewhere to talk without feeling like I'm taking up too much space. lol
