I got in on the tail end of the spicy deal. Had a nice little supply going, although I was usually too much of a scaredy cat to include it in my runs. shake head Those days were crazy - unlimited expired TQs, printed from the generators, and no one hardly ever blinked when using them. Quite the fun times, they were.

And then the sky fell. T figured out how to actually program their coupons to expire. Faint

Archer Farms salsa became the main ingredient in many dishes in our home. We'd bring salsa instead of wine to dinner parties LMAO

I say "spicey" because that became that code word for people who wanted the coupon and the mods started coming down hard on peeps and shutting down threads over it.

I never did the Durex deal actually. After being up to my eyeballs in salsa, it just didn't seem worth it.

those were good times. We even had one good Christmas with TQ a few years ago.

The coupon said $1 off but the register automatically took off $8 for each Q scanned. It was a rush for sure....

it was one of those underground things that spread through PMs but then some noobs starting talking about it on the main threads and all heck broke loose. Cartmanlikepie...was that a user name? laugh out loud anyhow, he/she shared it with me

It stated $1 but took off $8..It was a TQ..I think then T released another correct cpn but they forgot to pull back the old one....And it never expired for a yr or so...How I wish I was cpning at that time...

The new album is AMAZING!!! I had it blaring for my run earlier. The one that was $4 was the Greatest hits album I think. This is Wasting Light. It is only 9.99 at Target this week. Worth owning fo sho (I own everything they've ever done though laugh out loud) The one at Target includes a piece of the original cassette tapes the used to record the album Whee

Yeah, that was the username. I can't remember who shared it with me, I'm sure I deleted it a long time ago.

That was also when people were talking about the CWS coupons and whatnot. For a little while, the T thread was very loose and free. Not at all like it is now. Wink

I started at Target with the $1 off ANY Mexican item. Whoa. That was fun. I also remember the first time I used the spicy coupon and about had a heart attack! Then there is DH 'What the heck??? I don't think that is right!" Good thing for the jedi who shrugged his shoulders. Now I don't let DH anywhere near the checkout area!

Glad he is home. I would LOVE it you could share any tips! My 7yr old DD has tantrums and will try hitting me when she is upset. Throws things and has put a hole in her bedroom door. I am a self taught couponer. My mom would use a few here and there but I never remember her using more than 5 or 6 at a time.

I had no internet access when I first started using coupons so I was just clipping inserts. I remember when I used to make one or two shopping trips in a month to Super Walmart and I would come home and show DH how I saved $85 by using coupons and I was so proud of that even though I was still spending about $200. laugh out loud
