It really is OK to feel grr, I think we all feel that from time to time. I was hoping to make you feel better by looking towards the future, when today's feelings won't really have mattered anymore. You are a super person!

I at least thought the Ms. Mavis comment would illicit a chuckle! Here is something for you, just think ahead to the day that she discovers how to remove her diaper!! See I am such a good helper! nod

Wish I could real life hug you, so for now, please accept my cyber huggies hughug

OMG, that is so true. I swear children & youth will be showing up on my doorstep one day. Whenever my daughter is in trouble and I start walking towards her, she starts screaming "Don't hurt me, don't hurt me".

Thanks for all the Wags deals on candy. I need to get there today. The only thing I have so far for baskets is 2 yo-yo's I forgot to put in their stockings at Christmas, lol.

What I do need a deal on is fixodent. For some reason I ordered those q's. Scratchchin Some days I don't know about me...

Probably is growing pains from the sounds of it - I mean, there's no real other symptoms. *shrug* Kids... *sigh* And I wonder why I have white hairs...

laugh out loud (that last part actually has not happened to me... but it has to my SIL!!)
I had growing pains terribly as a child. I was on crutches for 6 months, and it finally cleared up. Sorry she's hurting so much! It's hard on the Mama. hug
The Always deal is monthly and there were $1 MQ in the last P&G to make them free. As Dazzled mentioned, there are 3 different kinds. Most stores have an endcap setup highlighting the deal. IIRC It's also rolling.

Andes mints, PLAIN Hershey's candy bars, Skittles, Haribo (sp?) gummy bears, and Hershey kisses. My 2nd DS has terrible allergies and I have to read the labels on everything. Most jelly beans are even made on a line with nuts. It sucks. Frown

This is a fast moving thread!! We went to Busch Gardens last night and had a blast. Even my 2 year old had fun riding rides. Too bad it's thunderstorms today, so we have to shop. Bummer Stick Out Tongue

Make sure your toddler is getting enough potassium. That can cause leg cramps. Feed her a banana or two and see if that helps.

It's a pain, I know Frown almost EVERYTHING says that now. Luckily, my dd's allergy hasn't been that sensitive as long as she avoids actual peanuts and peanut butter. Haribo are a favorite of our's though Smilie

Brrrrr it's 36 with a wind chill of 25. There is just a tiny bit of snow out there too. And the 30 MPH winds just make it all the better. Definitely not doing yard or pool stuff today.

I found a coupon and recipe book at HyVee yesterday. It's about 4 x 6 and pastel colored. "Deliciously Simple Recipes" The back cover has three coupons:
$1.25 on Nilla Wagers wyb one box of Jell-O gelatin or pudding AND one Baker's Bar product

Save $0.40 on two Philadelpia Cream Cheese

Save $1.00 wyb three Dole canned fruit

I gave Mavis a couple of sponge baths, but it was so pitiful seeing her shiver and get cold.
My daughter ran nasty fevers too. I would fill the bathtub with regular temperature bath water -- nice and warm. Then put her in there (with some tub toys if she was up to it) and turn the cold water on to a trickle. It would slowly lower the water temp and avoid that nasty freezing cold shock to the system and the shaking and screaming. I'd usually wash her hair with the warm bath water while we were at it. I'd comb and braid her hair while she played (or sat there and stared at the wall). (She had hair that matted like a dog -- it took a while!) By then her temp was usually down.

Hi kopenney! Good to see you back. Looks like some decent Wags deals. Might even make me go check out the Wags thread -- and that thread scares and confuzzles me!

I HATE that too. It's one of those things that makes me instantly furious. Everything in my cupboards has an exact, spot and very very few things have to stack in or on something else. It isn't that damn difficult.
Quote from bunnies46 :
I think that someday I am going to miss all these things. No more dirty socks on the floor. No more toys laying about. No need to threaten that the vacuum is going to suck everything up that is left on the floor.
Naaaaa, you won't. You might miss having little people around but you won't miss the messes. Plus, I heard this nasty rumor that once your kids move out with their messes that.... are you ready for this? Sometimes they have children of their own and they bring those little monsters back to make even more messes in your house. Now, I don't know this from personal experience, but I have heard!

Entertain me, peoples... and bunnies.

How I'd love for you to come visit for a couple of weeks. It's just me and I still can't keep my cupboards straight.

She does eat bananas like they are going out of style. I wonder if maybe she needs a supplement.

Morning All! Stopping by the puter on my way to the Keurig. What flavor for breakfast? Somehow, DS15 has decided he really likes the chocolate covered donut. How? DH bribed him to try it. Ugh.

More on the vacuum, it is over 10 years old, paid around $300 for it. The part is the cone that comes down and goes into the canister. There were 2 L shaped pegs that kept it in place, both have broken off and there is no suction. The hose is also half covered in hockey tape, so should get a new one as well. The thing is, we now have a dog that sheds like crazy, and were thinking of a Dyson animal. I heard that Lowe's will take the 20% off coupons from Harbor Freight.

Am going to a shower/bachelorette party tonight. She's preggers, so there goes all the shenanigans. They already happened!

Reading the TLC thread and the links to stories.

This irritates me: " This practice, currently made possible by the similarity of UPC codes within product families, is considered fraud."

No, it isn't. It's made possible by not reading the coupon and/or matching it to the items being purchased. Sometimes they scan for the wrong stuff and sometimes they don't scan for the right stuff; but every single coupon that I have ever seen clearly states what it is for.

Most employers require the ability to read so, I think, it's a fair assumption that cashiers in large retail chains can read.

It's not that hard to figure out. READ THE COUPON. Most coupons are pretty easy to see what they are for and most cashiers can easily remember if they scanned that item. (I'm pretty sure they all have better memories than I do!) If not, ask that the item be pulled out of the bag and double check it. I have had cashiers look over a coupon for a looooooong time and I always ask if they would like to see the item and tell them I will be happy to pull it out of the bag and that I don't mind at all. Or sometimes I just pull it out and show them -- nicely and cheerfully. (And I'm not a cheerful chatty "let's bond in the checkout lane" kind of person)

I was somewhere recently -- after the special but before the Kirlew debacle -- and the cashier asked for the coupons with the items. She scanned the item, then the coupon, next item, next coupon. I'm hoping it doesn't come to that because of $/$$ coupons but if it does, I can certainly understand why.

Rant over. Carry on.

I've been buying them ("buying") 4 at a time. DS is turning 10 and smells like butt by the end of the school day so he's getting new bodywash. Something tells me my stash of Johnson and Johnson buddy bars is going to be finished up by DD Shocking

LMAO Well let me tell you my DS, who is turning 15, still smells like that at the end of the school day.LMAO He sweats so much that I don't know of anything that can rid him of that smell. LMAO Now when he is at home and plays hard and sweats he doesn't have 'that' smell so I am thinking it is the crowded school smell on top of sweat...but it is gross!! At any rate, we go thru tons of deo and bodywash right now.

We seem to have a few cashiers who feel the need to match up cpns and price check everything that has a 'price box' on the cpn. Only a few of them but annoying none the less. By the time I get to checkout, I really do not have the time to do cpn matchups and stuff..I am in a hurry people!Mad I have to profile my cashiers for time saving reasons, you know I do not want to hold up the people behind me.shake head
