At work, just finished my "official" copy of my taxes (in ink). Ready to go mail them before the 8 pm shutoff. $235 back from federal, $119 owed the state.

The "If it fits, it ships" line for the Post Office has.to.go. I was told today that I overfilled my 4.95 envelope. It closed fine. PO personnel said that they are cracking down on overfilled envelopes. It fit, so it shipped. I don't see the problem (but he continued to say that the person receiving may in the future have to pay extra to receive said envelope). Seems to me they need a new slogan then.

It was coupons for the past 2 weeks for the SIL. 8 copies of entire inserts.

Setsail- I though of you when we shopped at the Hanna Andersson outlet. They had the final markdowns on last seasons clearance. I got some great summer T-shirts for $3.
Wave I love HA stuff! They have an outlet on your way to New Buffalo, MI and I used to always stop there when I lived in Chicago. My girls are too old to wear it now but I just had a replacement laugh out loud

I love me some Gymbo and I'm kind of sad that monkey is the only one that can wear their sizing after buying since 1996. laugh out loud I received my gymbucks redemption order on Friday and it just wasn't as thrilling as it used to be.
Is it just me or is the stuff not as cute? The lines now appear to be remakes of old lines. Like they can't think of anything new so they keep re-releasing the same stuff over and over? Confused

Got the kids those Spring Social striped dresses and the shirt/vest/pants for DS with my gymbucks. I didn't really love it but I have a problem. LOL

Hey Rachael -- I think we are having boneless beef country style ribs (BBQed) and baked potatoes tonight; and pork cutlets (breaded and fried) tomorrow.

Oh, yes, are you having ham for Easter? Well, when you get it, pick up a bag of northern beans. You will need them for the ham and beans we will be making with the leftover ham and the bone.
laugh out loud Sounds good but I am eating at MIL's for Easter so no cooking for me! Whee

That's ok. Just tell her you want the bone and ham scraps. I baked extra potatoes since the oven was going anyway. Going to make baked potato soup.

I agree, it isn't as cute. There were a few heydays but it's monotonous now. nod I find a few pieces for monkey but not much anymore. It was hard to spend my gymbucks and holy cow, they started gymbuck earning AGAIN today. Didn't even wait a week.

And how can your older girls be too old for Hanna? laugh out loud If they still fit, the older ones would still sometimes wear those opposite stripes dresses. I have a mega load of those in sizes 140-160 in my basement. Need to decide what I want to do with them.

I totally forgot about my gymbucks. I see they expired last night. Where is my brain these days? Oh, that's right, my 3 kids ate it. Crazylaugh

bounce Well, good afternoon to you!
Janie and Jack had a sign up that they had 7-12 available online. I find Janie and Jack has really cute boys clothes. Most boys clothes are ugly. I can only stomach so much camo. vomit

Worked perfectly!! Thank you! bounce
I know, he really wears a 12/14 though and the only Gymbo shirts that fit are the thermal (which always seemed to run big anyway). He's just reached 5 ft tall. Oh yeah, you saw him. Yes, he's only 8. If they made a Star Wars shirt though, he would squeeze into it.

I completely agree that boys get shafted in the clothing dept. I don't find things nearly as cute and I loathe bugs, sports stuff and stupid slogans on clothing. That knocks out 90% of boys clothing right there, from any company. Good thing there are always lots of stripes and solids!! laugh out loud

Ank, I say once the sickness (es?!) are gone from our families, you and I get to go on a week long cruise to some lovely Caribbean island, where all we do is lay on the beach and drink fruity drinks with umbrellas. Not even any sightseeing.

Just discovered spots on my 2yo, so it would seem I was not wrong in diagnosing my son with chicken pox. shake head Which makes me think that low-grade fever my middle child has been running is quite possibly the forerunner to the pox. So lovely. Like I want to spend another week stuck at home. Faint

Gonna go drown my tears in my chocolate milkshake hubby brought home for me.

nod Hannas are the best! My 10 month old is wearing his big brothers favorite jumpers and they still look awesome. Wears like iron. LOL

New additions are fun! Babies are the bestest. Smilie I drool over girl's stuff. My brother has adorable identical twin girls, they are so stinking cute and I buy them lots of frilly stuff.

I wish I had remembered my gymbucks, my oldest is starting Kindergarten in the fall and we are going private. They have to wear uniforms and Gymboree has uniforms online. I really need that $5/$25 Cherokee uniform TQ to come back. LMAO

I love it when someone else is cooking! I love major holidays because my Gram still does the majority of the cooking. That woman has endurance and has been cooking for 30-40 people every holiday for 30+ years. Faint I'm bringing a broccoli, stuffing, and cheese side dish. Easy peasy. Smilie

Yup, I'm totally with you on the bugs, sports, and random/ugly slogans. Target boy clothes are so bland. The girls at least get some sparkles. laugh out loud I have some C9, but only because it was free. I also have Shaun White, but I think we'll donate it to my church clothing closet. It's just ugly!

Hello all. Smilie

Sorry I haven't been around much. It's been a crazy few days here. Well, when isn't it crazy here?

So I don't know when I last updated on Tanner but I think I told everyone that he had an IEP in place at school. Well, they released him from his IEP saying their testing showed he no longer needed special education services. What? So anyhow. I moved forward with requesting an IEE. *for those not familiar, an IEE is an Independent Education Evaluation that the school has to pay for at their expense. If they agree, I find someone to do the evaluation and then I submit that to the school. We have a meeting to review and go from there. If they say no to the IEE, we go to Due Process which is basically like a court hearing of sorts.*

So I've ordered books about advocacy, the laws, and the steps in the entire process from becoming an advocate to the Due Process. I even ordered a DVD that is an actual Due Process meeting so at least I kind of know what's up.

The special ed director (over the entire district) called me last week and was rather rude. Kept asking me questions and I wouldnt give her the answers she wanted. Then today the principal called and said she's soooo concerned about Tanner and wants to make sure his transition back into school is easy. She wanted to meet with me today so I did and she wanted me to give the school permission to speak with the hospital, of which I declined. I think they are trying to be sneaky and try to prove that he's your average child without a disability, but he isn't.

Hopefully what I'm doing is right. lol It's like walking blind into a house full of glass.

Other than that, things are okay. My 3 year old has been very naughty today and I'm about ready to strangle her. lol

The Wright's Law website is excellent. Hang in there. Many schools are sneaky & will try to pull the wool over your eyes at every move.

Did you see they started earnings again? Unreal. It used to be weeks between GB cycles but now it's constant.

And, have you ever shopped at CWD Kids? They have a lot of cute stuff for boys. I love the things from Mulberribush like graphic tees (like trains, cute stuff graphics) and plaid pants sets in the winter. There is a store near you. Wink They used to have one in VA Beach but it's closed now. One of these days I need to stop in there because I need these drool

You could send them right over here Eyelash LOL I meant they are too big for last year's dresses - I think my 11 YO can still wear the bigger sizes.
