20 - 30 mph winds again today making it cold out there. It's actually 61 supposed to get into the upper 60's but with the wind Cold. I guess it's a good excuse to sit my butt and not do yard work. I can indulge my new addiction to a game from Free Ride Games -- Play World Mosaics 2. Ya fill in boxes and determine which ones by... well, it's a number puzzle, sort of.

I use this phase a LOT... like when my mom asks "how did you get all this stuff for free?" Whee

DS only has 2 weeks of school left and his teacher today asked me if he can come 5 mornings a week for the next 2 weeks instead of just MWF because they have a lot of stuff to try to get done before the end of the year. Ummmm... yeah. No problem. Wink

Also, need a deal on a rental van for a few days.. Looks like we may try to drive to Arkansas for a visit and my van has been acting up and DH is afraid to take it that far..


Haven't been to the grocery store in forever.. we are slowing working on the food stockpile, which is a good thing I think..
I am so behind this year on gifts (well, not on toys Coverlaugh). Our grocery store is running a deal: Buy $100 worth of certain gift cards (I'll be getting GC for Kohls), get a $10 store coupon good on your next purchase. I think this is what I'll be doing, because everyone I need gifts for has a Kohls near them. Usually I try to avoid giving GCs, but I just don't have the creativity or time to 'pick' gifts this year Frown
I hope you're able to find something for your MIL hug

If you really don't want to give a gift card alone, dress them up by making gifty baskets/bundles with your freebie stuff and tie/stick the gift card in.
