also, 3 home remedies that do help: yogurt, acidophilus, and calendula tincture. none of them are harmful to the baby, they don't have side effects and are gentle.

Here's my cheap party favors, you should have seen all the guys hooting and howling when the hooker looking alcohol/beer party gals would pass these out, hilarious! After I took the pic I found more coasters and beer koozie holders in my purse.

This is EXCELLENT. Just in case you can't read that description:
Bordeaux Cherry Amaretto Ice Cream with dark cherry pieces and dark chocolate flakes. (And Blue Bunny doesn't scrimp on the goodies. Lots of cherries, lots of chocolate)
Bought a couple new plants to put out by the pond and one lonely pepper plant but it's a poblano pepper plant. I have looked and looked for several years and never found them before. Found this one at KMart of all places. I doubt if I do anything outside today. For one thing everything is wet, but primarily because our winds are horrible. The forecast says 30 - 40 mph and they are at least that. I felt like a ping pong ball driving home.
Supper tonight is fried chicken legs with mashed potatoes and gravy. And maybe some macaroni salad. No, not KFC.

DH served breakfast in bed and we spent the afternoon at the greenhouse and then outside planting.
My 2nd DS has severe allergies and we had to have him tested at 1 year. It's no fun, but it's so worth it to find out what's causing the issues.

Hmmm Dinner sounds yummy! We're having homemade cheesesteaks, sweet potato fries, and salad from the garden (lettuce is already in, it seeded in the fall). Cheesesteaks are made from leftover london broil. DH makes it with peppers and mushrooms and it is soooo good. I think I like it better than the initial steak dinner.
I got the rocks done on one side of the pond. Then my back started hurting pretty badly so I quit. (Yeah, I'm learning...).
Then we washed our hands and went for Chinese... and ate too much.

And speaking of moms.... any mamma's have babies with thrush?? I am wondering if Mavis has it. She's had some blistery looking white patches around the inside of her lips and I noticed today that there looks like a white coating or something on the inside of her cheeks. Other than the fact that she's been making a face and spitting out foods the past 2 or 3 days, she hasn't given any other indication of it bothering her. Just wondering if that's been anyone's experience.

Oh, and this is really really stupid, but I want a cup of tea - I just don't want to have to make it.
A rule of thumb about thrush..is you try to wipe it away, it will not go away. Hope Ms. Mavis doesn't have thrush. Hugs.

Went to SILs for niece's birthday this weekend. Her youngest was running around with a snot nose. I swear someone is always sick on J's side. I think from here on out I am boycotting any family functions on his side. His family will bring sick kids to functions and not tell anyone they are sick. Apparently they don't give a shit that I have a newborn baby. If Noah gets sick I will come unglued!!!!!!!
I do not tolerate this kind of asshattery AT. ALL.
