I am lucky to have "chondromalacia patella" and "cystic degenerative joint disease" to boot to my name Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) It sucks to have a doc visit and hear something that you have.. Great , Orthopedic says "NO KICKBOXING".. Mad I am not going to LISTEN... I am having great day ranting all around the home, while the parents are asking me lie down and rest *for who*Cool
Comfort news is that We are going to India for 3 months vacation this may 28th and back only in August bounce DH would return after-a-month-and-a-half. I would be happy to be all by myself..Parents are leaving on 21st
hug for the diagnosis. pls take good care of yourself. i have a torn ACL in my knee and have to wear a brace when doing many sports, cannot do others and even just lots of vacuuming and housework since i didn't do surgery. probably one reason why my house is so dirty. well, that and spending way too much time on sd Teehee. if i don't take it easy my other knee compensates and really hurts just walking around and you miss out on doing things and having fun.

eta- last yrs summer toy clearance wasn't all that exciting so don't worry that you are really missing out. early aug you will be back in time for bts.

ok, off to be somewhat productive.

We are going to a cabin on a lake with a boat in northern Minnesota. One week away - Sat. 21st to Sat. 28.

*snip*
Have you found a lake yet? This time of year hits and I want to go to the lake. I want to go and spend a week there with my Grandma, fish from the dock, pick berries and walk to the candy store. I guess I want to be 9 again!

Kay....Wags has Gillette Fusion razors for 9.89 use the $4 coupon and get back a $5 RR. This is a month long deal. Every day that I was doing this deal until today I was just doing this transaction and adding ina filler item plus the previous $5 RR I earned before frim Gillette and I would get another RR. But no not today! No new RR if I used the $5 one from Gillette. Yes normally you cannot use the same RR on your next transaction of the same item but it was working. Now no more.
I ordered some coupons of the bay, though I was thinking I need just 2 coupons.. So the deal is dead??? rolling the RRs?

vertically slice the baguette from WF.

in a bowl mix up softened unsalted butter, and crushed garlic (paste, essentially). sometimes I also add chopped fresh parsley to it. :yu m:

spread onto bread. then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella.

into oven it goes and comes out as crusty bread, with warm buttery insides and gooey mozzarella on top! :dro ol:
Thanks will try that.. I am thinking about the Tiramisu from WF since you posted.. waiting for a chance to be on that way.. over this weekend..

I'm keeping an eye on the weather - looks like the rain will be mostly in the afternoon. :crossingfingers: I really need this sale, and I need to do well!!!

That is a pretty good deal, for sure. And the My K-cup filter (I think that's what its called?) is very useful. I use it whenever I run out of K-cups. It takes a little more time than using the cups, but less time than if you were to brew a pot of coffee. And it means I can use the Dunkin Donuts decaf I got for super cheap from Rite Aid. laugh out loud

My baby sister is back from college, so she's gonna hang with us today. Shopping and pricing are on the docket! : D
Hope the weather clears and your sale goes great...
DH talked me out of it.. He said, even If I buy now, it is going to *rest* while I am @ India... and he said that I would find a deal for even $100 bucks Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Here I sit reading the forum when I should be dressed and in town. Geez, I usually go to town once a week -- this will be my 3rd or 4th trip sinse Monday. Gotta got to HyVee's Friday the 13th sale for 150 oz. jugs of Purex ($3.99 - $3 MQ). There's no limit and I have 9 coupons. I have bought that many and more of one item before, but for some reason, I'm feeling really weird about it today. Yet, they have 7Up products (6 packs) 7 for $10 and I plan to buy probably 14 of those and don't feel weird about it.

Oh, and how could I forget, we are out of toilet paper. Yes, completely out. But I have plenty of Kleenex, Puffs and Huggies wipes. I may need emotional support when I get home from buying all this butt wipe. I've been waiting for them to put the Paseo back on mark down for my $1 coupons, but they haven't done it.
*snip*
Emotional support here you gohug WE WILL NOT TALK TO YOU ABOUT THE TOILET TISSUESnod
I buy the peeled garlic. It comes handy.. Never thought about freezing them, might come in handy without that *sulphur smell* Yuk

hug I know how it sucks! Dont worry about the home, take care of your leg, it is more important..I am asked to take Glucosamine and this new drug vimovo (an aleve alternative I heard, it wont make you sick)
Exactly the same, I have mild arthritis issues previously too esp in my left knee, had a steroid shot, it really helped with the inflammation. I went to workout and thought I was doing a great job with it especially with strengthening, but now this stuff.. This break will do me good, and I will come back for other options ..
Good luck.. I am going to T too, to collect my VIMOVO prescription.. 30 day supply is $121 shake head, I get a month supply free, + $10 gc
I am excited to be in that T, found a nice jedi..

Anyone here ever have any problems w/ coupon seller Lori (w/ the 3 kids)? I don't mean her excruciatingly slow shipping & delivery. I ordered B3G1 Ensure, & she sent $2 off Ensure. It even says B3G1 on the packing slip. I have emailed her twice, with no response.Confused
Quote from mamaoftwins2 :
I remember reading someone had problems but I have ordered from her many times and never had problems :touchwood:
Yep, I read that too, it's posted HERE. I don't think Lori ever responded in that thread, though later on she did create a new thread in the lounge to give eBay coupon sellers courtesy, or something like that.

Boy this has been quite the WEEK! Yesterday dh was loading the riding lawn mower into the back of this truck when he rolled it straight into the back window Facepalm One more thing to get fixed. Frown Just tons of little stuff one thing after the other the past few days and then of course my dd getting diagnosed w/the allergy Mon. Just so much stuff to go through and read labels etc, etc. It is just an adjustment. It does look like she will be able to tolerate this Sunbutter (made of sunflower seeds) stuff as a PB alternative (plus I found a couponwoot.) Happy about that and she was too. Next week has got to be better!

Was able to get to Hy-Vee this morning for the Purex, etc. BUT, not w/o getting all the way to checkout and figuring out that I had clipped the $1 off q's instead of the $3 off q's....aye, had to go all the way back home and get them. There is just sooooo much on my mind right now.

I'm baaaa ack! OMG, I went to both grocery stores.... twice. Stopped at Fareway and bought 4 of the Purex (they automatically price match HyVee). Went to HyVee bought the other five, my pop, and some cheese puffs. I wanted Chili Cheese Fritos that were on the one day sale but they didn't have them. So, hmmmm.... Fareway price matches, back I went, they had them. I'm glad I did, because in the meantime, I remembered that I had forgotten toilet paper. Back to HyVee (Fareway doesn't carry Paseo). Bought my TP, some mushrooom, and a couple steaks. Checked out. Then I remembered that I had forgotten hot dog buns. Left my cart, ran back and got them.

A list you say? Why not make a list? I HAD A LIST. I forgot to look at it.

So far for groceries for my trip I have candy, chips and the stuff to make lasagne. (I'm making it ahead in a disposable pan.)Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Don't know what else I am making or taking. DH loves biscuits and gravy and it's quick and easy using frozen biscuits and canned gravy, I'll get those.

We are going to Portage Lake and staying at Sunset. You don't have to be 9 to like candy and fishing!! As a matter of fact, I just bought a bunch of candy for our trip. HyVee has M&Ms, Milky Way, Snickers and few other 3 for $1 today. No, I don't have a candy stash like most of you.

And I don't think I have seen the peel. I just buy the whole bulb thing and throw in the freezer. I don't peel the tissuey skin off and I don't wrap it or anything. But, not anymore, I sticking with those frozen cubes and doin' it the lazy way from now on!

I ALWAYS make a list and ALWAYS leave it at home. I usually remember what is on that list though. I have to call DH and have him read the list to me to see if I forgot anything.

Yeah or in a glass jar. Campbell's makes some and there's another brand that I can't think of that he says is pretty good. He does want it thinned with a little milk though. I'm not cooking sausage and making gravy on vacation. I will toss biscuits in the oven and nuke some gravy though. I like the biscuits too, just not the gravy, but I don't like any gravy.

When I don't make my own white gravy, I make this, and it's almost just as good. Directions say use water, but I use milk to make it richer.

I can't even imagine. I would rather have no gravy!

Lists... write them... forget them... *sigh*

I changed Miss M's sheets and I got to thinking that maybe she was noticing how the sheet would move on top of the mattress. I don't know... Anyway, the last one was plain pink and this one has butterflies and flowers. I put her in for her nap and she sat trying to pick at the flowers. I think she was trying to say flower too (with my coaching, naturally). Smilie She's a smart cookie.

Who here is it that uses expired food as long as it's still good? I do too, to a degree, and it drives my son crazy! I was just cleaning out the garage fridge since it's trash night, and I found some Simply Lemonade from a Target deal. I have a 64 oz. Lemonade and Raspberry that were best by September 2010, if they still smelled and tasted good would you guys still drink them?

What about Sobe and Gatorades that were just as old? I can't believe we didn't manage to drink these, I don't even buy tons of them, even when they're free.
We will consume any frozen stuff no matter how expired it is. Refrigerated-probably wouldn't drink those lemonades or sports drinks. I had some power-c vitamin waters turn completely clear a little while after expiration, so a little wary of all that's in there.

Yes, I've seen mixes (my SIL uses one, as she can't make good from scratch gravy to save her life.)

DH and DD are gravy crazy and he he likes it fine. It looks and smells normal. A little thick, maybe. Beats me. I can't think of anything nastier than wet bread/biscuits.
