I guess I meant to say that my child's first thought with everything is how can I break this. He's not content just playing nicely with anything. Also, the more valuable & off limits the item the better.
I thought my older ds was bad but monkey toddler broke all the rules. Sounds like your son has a lot in common with him. *sigh*

I am lucky to have "chondromalacia patella" and "cystic degenerative joint disease" to boot to my name Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) It sucks to have a doc visit and hear something that you have.. Great , Orthopedic says "NO KICKBOXING".. Mad I am not going to LISTEN... I am having great day ranting all around the home, while the parents are asking me lie down and rest *for who*:
hug and enjoy your vacation!

Nope. My son was Lego crazy. We lived with them for about 13 years from Duplos to Legos. I think he would still play with them if he had them. We still have his Legos. They are stored. Once he has a real home -- not sharing an apartment -- I am going to deliver them. One handful at a time. Right in the middle of HIS floor.
Love this idea, saving it for myself. lol

Who here is it that uses expired food as long as it's still good? I do too, to a degree, and it drives my son crazy! I was just cleaning out the garage fridge since it's trash night, and I found some Simply Lemonade from a Target deal. I have a 64 oz. Lemonade and Raspberry that were best by September 2010, if they still smelled and tasted good would you guys still drink them?

What about Sobe and Gatorades that were just as old? I can't believe we didn't manage to drink these, I don't even buy tons of them, even when they're free.
I wouldn't drink them, and would toss them a few days before the expiration date because some of those things have such long shelf lives that it eeks me to think of it being a year old. But then I have an OCD kind of thing about dates on packaging. I write dates on cereal/crackers/etc when they are opened so there is no doubt about how long it has been open.
Quote from mama2cole :
Kiley puts those child proof snack cups on her feet and walks around with them... with snacks still in them.
Monkey toddler has been known to stir Goldfish, in those large cartons, with a Nerf sword. *sigh* again

ank, hope you are feeling better!

I'm trying to get back into Target. I spent the last two weeks taking advantage of the Hallmark cat deal at Stop N Shop affiliates. Ended today and I'm so sad about it.

Kind of in the same boat, Flug. I was planning on doing a sale tomorrow...the weather for this weekend has looked great all week but now it is a 60% chance of rain tomorrow Sadwalk Wish I would've double checked this morning before placing my classified ad. Annoyed

Last night we went "crabbing" for the first time for blue crab. Tied some rope to the dock and hooked a chicken neck on the end...you should've seen the amount of crab we caught...you could literally see them swimming up to the chicken and out of the water. Threw them into a pot w/ some Old Bay. yummy
I'm keeping an eye on the weather - looks like the rain will be mostly in the afternoon. :crossingfingers: I really need this sale, and I need to do well!!!

Crabbing sounds like so much fun! Love crab.

Fun. Yum.

I think DH is grilling burgers tonight. I like hot dogs better than hamburgers so I usually have him throw some of those on too.
We ended up going to Taco Bell for dinner, so hot dogs will be tonight. Perfect Friday night dinner.

is this price a SD deal??? Also, we are not into flavored coffee, but into columbian coffee and breakfast blend. I am also interested to buy with solo refill. SuggestionsPlease
That is a pretty good deal, for sure. And the My K-cup filter (I think that's what its called?) is very useful. I use it whenever I run out of K-cups. It takes a little more time than using the cups, but less time than if you were to brew a pot of coffee. And it means I can use the Dunkin Donuts decaf I got for super cheap from Rite Aid. laugh out loud

My baby sister is back from college, so she's gonna hang with us today. Shopping and pricing are on the docket! Big Grin

Anyone here ever have any problems w/ coupon seller Lori (w/ the 3 kids)? I don't mean her excruciatingly slow shipping & delivery. I ordered B3G1 Ensure, & she sent $2 off Ensure. It even says B3G1 on the packing slip. I have emailed her twice, with no response.Confused

Other than arriving slow, I've not had a previous problem either.
Thank you for the offer, but I am going to try to get Lori to straighten it out. They don't expire until Aug., so I'm not in a hurry.Smilie I'm just a little surprised she hasn't answered my emails. I've tried via the internet on her website, & also the email addy that was on the invoice.

Good morning! DH got called out last so he wasn't here to get up at the normal time, boy did I sleep in. I have to admit, it felt awfully good Cool.

Here I sit reading the forum when I should be dressed and in town. Geez, I usually go to town once a week -- this will be my 3rd or 4th trip sinse Monday. Gotta got to HyVee's Friday the 13th sale for 150 oz. jugs of Purex ($3.99 - $3 MQ). There's no limit and I have 9 coupons. I have bought that many and more of one item before, but for some reason, I'm feeling really weird about it today. Yet, they have 7Up products (6 packs) 7 for $10 and I plan to buy probably 14 of those and don't feel weird about it.

Oh, and how could I forget, we are out of toilet paper. Yes, completely out. But I have plenty of Kleenex, Puffs and Huggies wipes. I may need emotional support when I get home from buying all this butt wipe. I've been waiting for them to put the Paseo back on mark down for my $1 coupons, but they haven't done it.

I'm also going to stop at a yard sale, although it's already 10 AM. They have fishing poles... Because, you know, you can never have enough rods and reels. Actually, I have to buy a new fish basket, maybe they'll have one of those... yeah, that's why I'm going. Big Grin

When are you planning your vacation? I think I would miss T deals esp July toys clearance..
We are going to a cabin on a lake with a boat in northern Minnesota. One week away - Sat. 21st to Sat. 28.

No kids or grandkids so no need for toys.

Made with the french loaf, I did add a dollop of ghee too, used all cheese since I didn't have the *green* Parmesan. Awesome one, this recipe will get repeated.. DS#2 was going wild with his *pizza
Glad they enjoyed it.

in a bowl mix up softened unsalted butter, and crushed garlic (paste, essentially). sometimes I also add chopped fresh parsley to it. :yum:
Have you ever used the frozen kind? I have always bought fresh whole garlic and kept it in the freezer. Then, just peel off and clean the cloves as I need them. A while back I saw frozen, crushed garlic at Target on clearance and picked up a couple to try. They are in a flat plastic container that reminds me of an ice cube tray with a snap on lid. Each little frozen square equals one clove and it's minced super fine. Boy, talk about handy!

I should stop at Fareway while I am in town. I don't like Fareway but they do mark produce down. When I made the skillet lasagne the other night I noticed I am getting low on my freezer stash of peppers and the damn things have gotten ridiculously expensive. I need to start stopping there just to check for those.

All you sick people, get some rest, get some sunshine, get BETTER!!

Wave

My face hurts. I'm drinking almost everything I can put in a glass and taking vits. Otherwise, everything is peachy.

Miss M. is doing very well and strangely occupying herself right now by feeling her crib. Yes, feeling her crib. Dontknow She scoots around a bit, puts her hand down and rubs the sheet/mattres, stands up, sits down, does it again, switches to her belly, wiggles around a bit, rubs the sheets again... I don't know. She's never done this before. Maybe she's drooling and noticing wet spots? It's kind of funny and I don't want to disturb her, so I haven't gone over to feel them for myself!

Toddler is being kept busy with some games from PBS Kids, and oldest is doing school work. I'm hungry. I think PB&J sounds fantabulous.
