thanks guys, I am fine, just feeling down..

GG - Kohls had some good deals on those toning shoes..brand was avia..I bought a pair and am happy with it..It did feel odd in the beginning but I love them now..I will post here if i see them again..

do you guys think I would get banned from here if I say I don't like peanut butter...

Also does anyone like plain cornflakes...just plain not mixed with milk or fruits or frosted...
Toning shoes are on the top of my buy list as soon as I get better. 5.5 months of bed rest has left me looking like Jello that has been sitting on the counter too long.

Jiggle, Jiggle, Wiggle, Wiggle, blech.

I used to love eating plain cornflakes as a kid and still love em as an adult.

Peanut Butter - I hated PB when I first tried it. Just plain hated it. Skippy, Jiffy, Reese's all of it. So horribly salty and sugary and oily I thought. Then one day I was at work in this post-grad school starter job, and had no lunch with me, and no time to get any. Colleague said she was starving, too and offered me half her PB&J sandwich heart
I politely explained I didn't like PB and she said me, too! And then she proceeded to tell me that the organic nothing else added PB is completely different tasting and delicious. Not wanting to be rude I ate the half sandwich and oooooh, she was so right.

I only eat the no sugar added, no salt added, no oil added peanut butter. It's just dry roasted peanuts ground up to make butter. Delicious. All the sweet and saltiness and oil comes from the peanuts themselves. Try it! It's spoon licking delicious! And good for you!

Quote from bunnies46 :
No you will not be banned for not liking peanut butter and cause I won't let them! I will thrash them about and drop a house on them. nod
Yes I like plain ol' cornflakes.
Can you drop a few houses around here, please? Several of us need new houses. Just please, don't drop anything on me Crying and when you "drop" the house, do it the way a crane would with a giant piano, bringing it down gently and putting it down intact on the sidewalk.

kthnx.

and you haven't yet been asked what drugs you put in their dinners that you don't want to eat them? LMAO
I'm a crunchy peanut butter kind of person, but fast few days I just can't stop thinking of big creamy spoonfuls of PB. Facepalm
and no, i am not pregnant. (i knew the question was coming)

i usually eat all my breakfast cereal w/o milk or fruit. lactose intolerant and don't really like drinking cold stuff except in the summer. i did heat up soy milk and pour it over some grape nutty type cereal b/c it was just too hard and too much chewing goin' on. i have whatever is cheap/free in the house so that's never been plain cornflakes but i've eaten raisin bran w/o anything. right now i'm working on a slightly expired box of special k yoghurt and fruit from the special k cereal and bar deal. which i eat for late nite snack in front of the computer cuz i'm in a munchy mood and dry breakfast cereal is crunchy and filling.
....
tried almond milk?
I am lactose intolerant too. can't stand drinking milk. so when i eat cereal i eat it with fruit yogurt. and I take lactaid before and after. eventually we will all be lactose intolerant. it's a natural human process - as we age our bodies make less and less lactase enzyme, and our bodies store what they make. which is why if you don't have dairy for several days then have a little bit, it'll be less irritating than if you consume a lot of it every day. I don't go anywhere without Lactaid in my purse, in the glove compartment, in first aid kits. It's been a lifelong thing for me.

keep your eye out for sales on Cascadian Farm Organic Cereal. They were a small farm that produced organic things and then GM bought them and so now their products are included in cat deals.
I got several boxes of free CF Org Cereal in different flavors for free. Gave a family member a box. Few days later got a message: oh my God, that is the best cereal I've ever eaten, I've never eaten cereal like that! laugh out loud
He doesn't even like cereal normally.

I'm back from my T run and HT run. Man, talk about STC! At both places!!! And bunnies and green, I picked up sliced mushrooms (1.29 @ Target) and an avocado at T, and then tomatoes at HT. My salad is scrumptdiliumptious!!!!

I can take peanut butter or leave it. But I *do* love it in Thai cooking. So delish.

Flug that salad does sound awesome!

Corner gardens are dug up, planted, water, fertilized and mulched. The plants I removed are happily relocated. Grass is mowed. My lower back is screaming. I was covered in mud so I hopped, err dragged myself into the shower. I rarely shower, I bathe, but I wasn't sure I could lift my leg over the tub to get in and was afraid that if I did, I wouldn't be able to get up to get out. But, they are done and they look nice. I think I am happy with them.

I gulped 2 aspirin and 2 ibuprofen so I'm hoping between those and the shower they will kick in so I can hike my fat butt into the timber to search for mushroom. Right this minute, I don't think I can pull my leg up high enough to lace up my boots.

I don't think I have accomplished anything else today. But I can get a few more little things done tonight -- laminate the map, update Garmin, pack and/or load some crap.

Oh yeah, the food part keeps getting easier. I asked DH what I should fix or buy. He doesn't care. Can't think of anything. Ummm, lasagne? No. "Don't bother, we will hit a grocery store or just eat out, we'll figure it out". Soooo, my food list is now down to coffee, half & half, tea, pop, water, bologna salad & bread, fish frying flour and oil. Oh, yeah, there are cheese puffs in the van. I am baking some bar type goodies tomorrow though.

Let's see.... I'm supposed to bake something and throw it at someone's wind shield. Okey, dokey. Let me know when and where.

Peanut butter -- I love it. PB & J (and that means Jam and it has to be Welsh's Grape) is my favorite sandwich. Gotta have PB on my pancakes. -- and yes, I still use maple syrup.

Cereal -- hot, cold, doesn't matter I love it. You know those little bowls that come with your dish sets? Yeah, those aren't meant for cereal. You know that small mixing bowl? THAT's the cereal bowl. Don't tell anybody, but even like the cereals that are supposed to be healthy!

Maybe we are sisters! Over the years, especially since I had my DD, I get irritated by everything. I recently found out I am allergic to propylene glycol, which is in almost all HBA. UGH! I am also told I might be allergic to diary. I am allergic to nickel and probably a ton of other stuff. I

I hope you find a cough syrup you are good with.

how did I miss that the world is going to end? Hmmm, way to may coupons left to use.

I am off to the chiropractor. Have worsening headaches and my neck aches. She thinks it is from when we were rear ended when I was visiting Trevor. Only problem is, I had my Dad pick me up before the state trooper arrived, so don't think I can file it under that accident. Oh well. Thank goodness for insurance!

i did try it a few months ago w/ a good q. unsweetened almond milk = Yucky

i will stick to unsweetened organic soy. i've tried coconut milk drink but i'm afraid to heat it up too hot. in the winter i drink a hot cup of soy milk every day that i remember.

luckily i don't need lactaid yet. i can eat yoghurt, cheese, ice cream, etc as long as i don't overdue it, no more than 2 servings per day spaced widely apart. i can do regular milk in coffee no problem, in mac and cheese and do a little chocolate milk at night, like half a cup. which is really lucky b/c i love pizza and mac and cheese.

i will keep an eye out for deals on cf cereal. not a big fan of kashi.

and i'm so glad that you must be feeling better gg since you are posting all over. well, besides the cough. that might be from allergies. dh has a dry cough, i have a little lung congestion and this yr is truly awful for allergies.

Hello all!!

I go the most beautiful birthday gift in the mail today from Meesh. It's a Chamilia bracelet. It has the most beautiful stones on it with a Disney stone that says "dreams really do come true." How sweet is that? Then right in the middle it has these shiny metal beads that spell out my name. It says "BITCH"

Thank you so much Meesh. You really are good at picking out the perfect gift for a girl. Big Grin

I have heard of and eaten them. It seems that someone always brought them to work when we shared a meal.

It was little smoked sausage links in a bbq sauce of some kind.

It's pork and beans with hot dogs cut up in it. Then you ad a little mustard, ketchup, and brown sugar to it.

Just wondering. Meesh thinks I'm a freak because my kids ate that for lunch or dinner once. She's never heard of it. Apparently it's not a recipe in her Gourmet mag.
