Bunnies, so glad your 'old' boo-boo is better. Know how you feel on the 'new' boo-boo. Same thing happens to me. The foam band-aids are the worst! I will ask DH about organic, natural pesticides etc. He works for the largest farm chemical company in North America. He actually got offered a new job in said company yesterday, the 2nd anniversary of us moving here!

Ank- receive any envies from me yet? I have tons more to mail, just want to make sure you are receiving them!

Now I need the heahache to go away.

Heading out for my birthday lunch. Was going to go out for dinner but I couldn't think of a quiet place I could hear at without hearing aids. So the Birthday girl decided to wait until I get the new ones in. Pick a noisy restaurant in downtown Milwaukee that has good food but I didn't like the noise and a movie to see. Have to try out those new hearing aids to see if I can hear at these venues and if I enjoy them.

Now to get back to shopping this week. Haven't bought a thing at any store. But that is what Thursdays are for and no list has been made.Embarrassment

Hey all!! I know this is unlikely, bc the Q was regional, but does anyone have extras of the Luna Bar Q from this past weekend? Its a $0.50 off 1 Q and was in my Redplum. This is something I buy all the time without Q's so I could really use any I could get my hands on! I have checked the 3 clipper sites I use most often and they didn't get it. Frown I eat these daily so the q's would help! Smilie

Yeah for your DH and his new job!
If you would ask him, I would be grateful. I am looking at neem oil, I just want to make sure it's going to work, I am sure your DH will know the answer.

I was just coming to post that I got 3 envies today!!! They all have different post marks, but they all came to day - very weird. But, rest assured, they have arrived and I am going to put them to good use.

Anyone here a Walmart expert? I was wondering if you can buy a non-walmart gift card using a wm gift card.

Ahh yes, I remember those packages! My freshman year my friends got a note saying that they had a package waiting for them to be picked up; I was bummed because I didn't get one. I went to check my mail while they went to get their packages and my sister had sent me a homemade "Survival Kit" with all my favorite goodies and I know it cost her a hell of lot less....what a smart girl! Need some ideas...

Child going off to college...what are the essential that he needs that he might not know that he needs?
The things that you don't think about until you are there and you say, oh I wish I had this or that?

Any thoughts/help would be appreciated.
A stapler!!!!

I think only about 1 out of 100,000 college students owns a stapler. Some (but not all) of the computer labs on campus have staplers. As a general rule, the classrooms do not.

I tell my students they need to staple their papers before they turn them in. I define staple for them. Staple = the little metal thing that comes out of a stapler. It does not = a paper clip, chewing the corners of the paper together, folding the corners of the paper, glue sticking the paper, etc.

Still - the day papers are due, about 90% of my students come running up front asking "Do you have a stapler?" and then some of them run off to try to find somewhere to staple their paper....while others (usually the males) start chewing the corners of their papers together.

I am thinking of making a T-shirt that says "This is college. Get your own damn stapler!"

If your son has a way to bring his paper to class already stapled, he will win the heart of his instructors.

And he might be able to start a little side business stapling papers for others for a fee. laugh out loud
