This is great news. Did you see this post in deals?
bouncebounceThat is awesome!

LTB, have you changed paper recently? As in, paper types. I've found that the brightness/ quality of the Staples brand paper, for example, seems to keep coupons from scanning as well as say, the Hammermill paper I have.

But, the last 2 times were a laser.. my toner is pretty new, and I haven't changed the settings.. I don't know if it is something with my printer, or the "site" I am printing from..

I tried printing the nexcare coupon, and my barcode scanner on my phone won't recognize the bar code, so I afraid to use them..
Quote from flugette :

The Nexcare mpp doesn't scan for me. shake head Was wondering if someone had a crisper version.

Would love to get a hold of that one.......
Go to my site listed below, my mpp's scan. I've checked them with a hand scanner I have at home plus lots of people have used them with no problem. If they don't scan for you, I would suggest putting your printer on a higher resolution setting. hth

hate to sound like I'm advertising cause I'm really not. Just trying to help. Oops forgot to say if anyone has any problems, please let me know so I can help

What about Amy Winehouse? Norah Jones? And of course, the classic, Carole King?

Yep there are homeo meds for hyperactivity.
I was thinking Norah Jones and couldn't remember her name! Thanks!

Thank you for all the info! We dont have TJ or WF, but we have some various health food stores, an Earth Fare, and something else I can't remember the name of right now... also our Kroger carries a decent selection of organic/whole/natural foods.

I am definitely moving us towards more organic and less pre-packaged. I don't think we do as much as the "average" household, but I'm almost to the point of thinking that any is too much for us. We have too many dietary issues to mess around with and while I know it runs counter-intuitive to the culture, it would be easier to go all home-prepped/made foods for us. I'm tired of all the illnesses and just general malaise!

Public schools aren't licensed to practice medicine
They aren't, but they can make threats and strong "suggestions" that make it impossible for a parent to *not* do what they say. We have a neighbor who was told that her son couldn't come to school unless he is on meds.

Oooh... forgot about Allison Krauss too! Thanks!!

And I wish I could turn my hearing off when I go to WM sometimes.

I hear stuff like that too. Drives me crazy.

Seems that some of the glass can get marred or gunked up. Sometimes it is better with a cleaning or replacement. Did they try the hand scanner/gun thingy?

Yup, I was off eating my cottage cheese. It was yummy.

Just to clarify, I totally agree 35 isn't old, I just feel old. My aunt (who's in her 50's) keeps telling me how young I am and how 3 little kids must keep me young. Sure Crazylaugh

I'm getting really excited for Disney, we leave tomorrow at the crack of dawn. We're staying at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek [wyndhamvacationresorts.com] resort through our timeshare. It looks really cool.

They have ice cream socials ever day right at the time we'll be finishing up naps and getting back out to the parks. This could be good or bad for my weight depending on my morning/all day sickness. laugh out loud

I think it was L2B who said you are going to Disney later this year? T has some awesome water/fan bottles that are great for the park. I just decorated them with Disney stickers so the kids will think they are cool. Coverlaugh

I'm a huge planner and booked our character breakfast/lunches in January and now I'm printing everything out for the trip. I also found some great printables for the kids to color during the trip on the Dis boards [disboards.com].

I killed the board!

Just finished printing all my birthday emails for freebie food. Geesh!

I had to do a search with birthday to find them all, I hope to use most of them in Orlando. Smilie
Any recommendations for my birthday dinner? We have friends watching the little ones, so I can get a date in with hubby.

Even my 1 year old got a freebie from the B&N, a free cookie or cupcake. Umm, sounds great to me. yummy I'll make sure to give him a bite.

That's crazy! Its my anniversary too! It will be 5 years for us! Are you guys doing anything special? We were planning a trip to Japan (tentatively) but then last year we decided that having a baby seemed like a better plan (I have always said I would be done having kids by 30), so that is not happening now. I was thinking about doing a B&B on the beach, but IDK. The girls and I are leaving for Mt 4 days later, so I know it won't be but a weekend celebration. Dontknow

I rented that today from Redbox! I also got All Good Things [imdb.com]. I have no clue if either are good, but I am going to watch them! laugh out loud !
was this any good? I think I saw it on netflix

Did you double check your reservations with each restaurant? When we went it fell over DD#3s 4th birthday and we had planned Princess lunch in Epcot and Cindrella Dinner at the one fancy hotel on property...well they messed all of them up but luckliy found a way to get it at a not too much later time (well 8:30pm for a 4y/o's birthday) but It was still amazing. Prince Charming came over and kissed her hand and she about died!

shake head We didn't even get through the whole movie Embarrassment But to be fair, We had just found out about Alexa's grandma passing, and we weren't in the mood for a paying close attn kinda movie. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

We did watch the Dilemma the night before, and let me tell you, it was NOT a very funny movie. shake head Not sure if it was supposed to be, but it wasn't. There in one scene where one of the characters is on the phone with his sister, and I did snarfed (is that the right word?!?) on OJ! Soo damn funny!

That's where i got mine from, and it won't scan. Dontknow

Its official - just got back from T and my envelope of coupons for T is definitely gone forever. Sadwalk Its not a huge disappointment, because I had used most of the good ones already, and the rest were (mostly) recently expired ones anyway. Plus a *ton* of TQs. Oh well. Just gotta let it go and start printing again!!

Sorry about your envelope. hug

I left mine at Wags yesterday in a buggy. I rushed back and someone had turned it in and it was at the front register. I had about $20 in RR's and a Wags gc with about $20 on it.

They were all still there.

....

you're welcome, hon!
email me anytime if you have questions.

we started moving to organic about 3 years ago and then started making this gradual shift to home made/made from scratch. it has made a big difference for us in how we feel, how much we eat, and even what we can taste. completely changes things and awakens your body in new ways.

and a lot of health issues just disappear - for example, indigestion, acidity etc, we hardly have that with home made stuff.

as for it being counter culture - yeah, i guess it is seen as that, but the longer i've been doing this, i really consider it kind of going back to the basics and so more mainstream in a way if you know what i mean. i find it's actually more about simplifying in a way.

for example, once upon a time, i used to buy buttermilk dressing, buttermilk pancake mix, buttermilk biscuits. now, i just buy buttermilk. i use it to make dressing at home, pancakes from scratch, biscuits from scratch, mashed potatoes, mashed cauliflower etc. one container lasts me a while (it doesn't spoil easily cos it's fermented already) and i have the freedom to make many things, each of which takes 5-10 mins, no more. it's just about simplicity for me. simplicity in what we end up having to buy (basic ingredients) and what we put in our bodies. and with kitchen appliances like a mixer or a hand blender, it really isn't that effortful.

plus i was raised that way: fresh milk, eggs, homemade butter, fresh fruits and veggies, freshly butchered meat and freshly caught fish/seafood. so in some senses, it's kind of what's natural for me. i find food packaged, pre-cooked, frozen, bagged and boxed to be unsettling cos it's not what i grew up eating, you know? i just try to do as much of that as possible. can't do homemade butter, but i do the fruit/veggie/lentil thing from scratch, try to buy unfrozen fish/seafood/meat and even in organic food lines i try to buy things that don't have salt, sugar, preservatives etc added. i can add things myself, thank you very much. Big Grin

my plan for this summer if i feel better is to do some home canning. i've never done that before, but we always had home preserved stuff as kids and it's really good. hoping i can put away some jams/marmalade and tomato sauce , and also things like pickles, capers, baby corn etc. so that will take care of buying those in the future.

Well, I would sign up for that.

I have left my pouch and CD zippered holder more than once. I have always been able to go back and find it.

We have a new "Find Post by user" on SD. Looks weird.

Totally different interface, I like the old page better. But I see the benefit in this page, which allows filtering.

I guess one good use is the search the archive part... a new first time poster to the Publix thread (but been an SDer for a LONG time, just not posting) showed up today. Allowed me to determine they are a reseller at a Flea Market. (Nothing against resellers, provided you got your deals the legit way).

Have you seen the new mod alert "pick a problem" change as well?

To all those who prayed for a monetary miracle for me yesterday, i want to say thank you. Your prayers were heard.

A minor monetary miracle arrived in the mail today in the form of rebate checks totaling $253.00 and better yet, no bills. bounce Every little bit helps when you've got a slew of bills to pay. So thank you, my dear friends for your prayers and for envisioning miracles for me. And thank you to the Guy in the Sky for listening! Big Grin

one already exists by the way. it's called "carry a big purse" LMAO
no seriously. i carry the purse, put it in the top rack of the cart and have it somewhat open with the coupon envelopes lying within easy reach. i sort as i shop and put the qs into my wallet or into a folded pc of paper with my transaction info listed. done. the coupon envelopes (small plastic accordion folders really, for a buck from dollar tree) never leave the confines of my purse, so they're never going anywhere i can't find em.
