Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

That is just awful. Something I can't imagine. My own Son is 20 and would have loved to join the military. Because of him being a diabetic, he can't. A blessing in disguise I suppose. My prayers are with you and all of the families!

My son is 14 and also has JD. His dad is a 20 year retired Marine, and I am kind of glad Zacky can't go. It was a rough time being married to a career marine.

I would have loved to see the mall. Flying out we went to Detroit. Which I don't think I've been to in many years. Got there, went outside to smoke, 2 minute walk and almost 60 minutes to get back in and go thru security. At least Salt Lake has smoking rooms.

pay $1.50 to $1.75 here for a beer and I go to the cities and $4.00 t0 $5.00 a beer.

You are going to the wrong places, I grew up in the city, and if you know where to go it is not a problem-- I have never payed that much for beer !!!
