I have a rant !!! I signed up for that Steamy Kitchen Store newsletter,, with the promise of a $25. GC to use on purchases from the store. I know a few FFers jumed on it also and it was after I did by a week or so. I think Blondeey got her GC, ordered and got her purchase quickly. I have been waiting for the email....... and it just showed up. NOT a $25 GC !! a 10% discount. WTF ? Wouldn't be bad IF I was planning on a BIG $$ purchase

I couldnt find it either so I posted it and it was a repost but now I cant find it again. I put the entry link for the contest and some codes on page one of the FF

Good morning gang!! Just read through and got caught up on posts since last night. I would like to give a special thanks to Lizardo for the effort put into getting me reps to go bold and a big thank you for everyone else, too!! I think I am a big winner just being associated with everyone in the FF!!! You couldn't ask for a nicer group of people!!

I hope so too....but if it was a "legit' trade I think she would have responded when I told her the pen never came........all she has done since June 3rd is ignore me....

Okay, I fully realize that the contests are every once in a while giving us something for free, but I'm REALLY getting tired of:

1) The ones like Ghiradelli where you click enter on page one, enter your email on page two along with a saying and your favorite chocolate, then the third page, you choose a background, the fourth page you click next, and the 5th page you enter your info and the captcha. All of that could be put on ONE page, but we spend hours during the contest going through the pages and waiting for them to load.

2) The artsy-fartsy let's wait until the milk curdles while it loads contests. Sure, some graphic designers got paid big bucks to come up with them, but they are such a drag to enter.

3) The facebook ones where you wait for all the ads to load before you can click enter then wait for all the ads to load before you can actually put in any information. Also, those things crash with frightening regularity.

4) The ones that "require" codes, but if you don't have any, just tell them to send you one via email, or go click in two places and it will magically appear. Either you need a bloody code or you don't. Stop messing with me, for goodness sakes.

I wish they'd all just let me enter my email address and move on to the next one. They should make it easy to give us free stuff, not make us jump through the proverbial hoops. If I had free stuff to give away, I'd just do it. People would like me more. But nobody listens to me. You didn't even bother to read this far, did you? Thought not. Rodney Dangerfield time again.

I had an ebay transaction like that last year. Never received the product, and the person stopped communicating. Then she cut off people being able to see what others thought of her transactions. I had to have eBay/PayPal resolve it and refund me. Don't think SD can support you in this but you could check.

And well you should be. I mean you signed up, got the card, ordered and got what you wanted, so it's only right you should feel guilty. Send it back immediately. Or better yet, send it to me, along with everything else you've won in the last two years. I don't care if it's used or not because, like others on this forum, I'm easy. And NO, I'm not sending you the purse.
