For the record, I'm a little disappointed that the latest iPhone doesn't support LTE, but I had such a good experience with the iPhone 4 and a relatively poor one with the Droid Incredible that I'll pull the trigger. nod

I like the Siri feature on it, but I am going to pass on this generation.

Apple won't release a 4G/LTE phone until they get acceptable battery life out of it. They don't want to release something that will only get a few hours of battery life. That's what happened with the iPhone 3G.

BBM is 20% of the market...iOS is 30% of the market...a success of 0.300 is only good in baseball! When 2/3rds or more do not have the option to communicate that way, it is not a good option. This is why texting wins, it was carrier driven with 100% compliance.

My phone has built in Facebook IM/texting communications, which is probably used by close to 90%+ of all the smartphone population

I'm month-by-month on a plan with my Droid Incredible and no Wifi at work ... I would blow through the 100 MB limit within a week if I left on Wifi laugh out loud

Honestly, LTE would be great if I downloaded large files/watched movies/etc on a regular basis but that's something I'm likely to do? Dontknow

well, I guess I'll stick with my bare bones non smartphone POS that I hate.

androids that I've seen suck or are too big.

just not enough new blood in this iPhone for me to pay the monthly fees.

I am the sector you need to win, iPhone. I'm waiting for you idiots to ask me to go with you to the dance but you keep beating around the bush. yawn.

Ok, I would just hate to see you locked into the 4S when the 5 is just around the corner.

...and I agree with the LTE. It isn't a selling\breaking point for me either.

They went from 3 to 3S to 4. They only do major release every other year...which makes me wonder why the rumors were as crazy this year as they are during the full release years. I can't believe the rumor mill took off like this one did. I cannot explain it.

No, nothing on features yet. I would definitely expect the design change to mimic the iPad 2 design though, but that's may be wide spread knowledge already.

Since the Iphone 4S is a world phone and unbranded does that mean it will be easier to unlock?

How much will the 4S be off contract?

How much will last gen's Ipod touch 4 cost now that the new repackaged one is being released?

No you aren't...

They are aiming for the crowd that loves the logo and will spend $200 a year for the same old technology with their spin.

You think common folk CARE about "7x faster graphics"??? What does that mean to anyone??? All it will be used as is a selling point and a way for someone to have the perceived notion they get a "good" deal.

Speed is just so up in the air now in the moble market anyway...the fastest device out there might be an android but it is slowed way down by a laggy OS...so what are you really supposed to believe?

In the end...it is one of the smallest screens on the market with the largest frame (black non-screen space) of basically any phone available...also it is the most expensive 16 GB model available in that micro screen size market...that being said...it will sell millions!

I can...they didn't release it in July...that sent everything nuts.

Also, just as people are wrong to say it is an iPhone 4G, you are equally wrong in calling it an iPhone 3S, haha. So I must insist on correcting you...They went from 3G to 3GS to 4
