i hate the videos. they do it to have a captive audience for their 30 second advertisement. i'd rather read a 4 page article than watch a video. which always takes forever b/c they don't load properly the first 3,4,5 or more times i try to watch it.

morning! Wave

so i woke up early w/o an alarm clock, lay around in bed for 40 minutes, showered, got my butt over to target b4 8:30 and.........nothing Mad

there was one red doing something on an endcap and there were a couple of flatbeds of what looked like restock cuz a saw a couple fans and some life games. i saw a case of the bright red seat cushions from summer mini seasonal ripped open on top of a bunch of cases of various coolers. i could have told them to not even bother w/ the cushions and just take it right back and salvage it. i don't think this store ever had those cushions out ever. my store just gets the minimum order so it always looks barren. i found one of the big red ice cube coolers yesterday, still there today, i might have tried to get it if i'd got a bunch of toys but not w/ no clearance toys at all. stuff i checked yesterday still 50 off.

trying to decide if i want to call another store to check dpci's and go. feeling lazy and don't really need anything. gotta get rid of the stuff i already got.

Was at my Target @ 8:40 and it was just at the right time cuz they were starting to mark the toys down Smilie I spent around $100 and got 27 thing. I'm so glad that I don't have to stalk the toys anymore! It got very tiring! Have a few things that I bought @ 50% that I need to return then I'm taking a break from T for a while! Unless there is a really good deal to be had! Lol

Morning, everyone! Wave

I'm working on my second cup of coffee, gearing up to start cleaning. Got to sleep in nice and long this morning. Since my son has been sleeping on the floor, waiting for a new bed, he sleeps so late in the morning. I'm not sure if its cause he stays up late at night playing with his toys, or just gets a very poor nights' sleep or what. We have now decided to scour CL and get his bed there, and FIL has agreed to that. If we ordered it new, it along with the mattress would take at least 4 weeks to get here, and I just don't want to have the little guy wait that long. School will be starting around then and he will definitely need a good nights' sleep.

Not much else to report. TM4D, I envy you the house, but not the packing. Big Grin I'm hoping we will be able to move in a year or so, which means I really need to start now with the decluttering and paring down so its not such a nightmare.

L2BM, so so so sorry about your brother. hug Prayers coming your way!

TN, hope the surgery goes/went well! hug

Went to two targets this morning only spent $80 total. I think that is the least I have ever spent at the toy clearance. It must be cause I already have so many toys at home. I really need to get the back basement area finished so that I can organize it all.

I thought it was funny that those kung fu zhu zhu pets which have been on clearance for months are still at 50%.

Toys were still 50%. Since I rarely shop Target I went ahead and bought my son some stuff for Christmas. There was one-two of each item on clearance. If you have your eye on something it might be worth 50% instead of waiting for 75%.

flug, if you lived closer i would lend you an air mattress. i have 3, not including the one w/ the slow leak from my nephews jumping on it.....we woke up one morning at a friends house and our butts were touching the floor!

My bro booked the subway passes last week, I think we are just gonna skip going up to the top of the statue (probably better, last time I went to the top of the tallest slide at the park with DD I felt ill Roll), and I'm sure we will visit some museums since SIL is an art major, thanks for the links!!

This was me too...spent around $90ish. Wasn't as much that I wanted, already have stuff from previous yrs., plus I don't want to bring in too much then have to move it. Still, I got PLENTY that I really wanted. My fave was the Loving Family Manor (smaller dollhouse) for $7.48 Smilie

Afternoon meanies!!

DH is debating between going back to Comcast, starting with direcTV or trying the hotspot for our internet.

I just want him to decide so I can print some Qs!!! We have been so busy I only got one shopping trip in and that was just before the 4 th of July! We are running out of everything,ugh!

Aww M2C laugh out loud why you skeerreed? Lots of noobs over there right now. They are on sale $2/4 and their are $2/2 peelies on the boxes in a lot of the stores so $1 a box. I don't think that is that hot but apparently someone did. LMAO
