Should I fire this guy?

So the other day my buddy over at UPS sends me a resume.....from one of my own employees!!!
Here's the deal. I manage a small medical supplies company with about 25 or so employees. Well we have this one guy working in the loading bay that drives the fork lifts. He and the UPS guy are always going behind the building and getting stone. He thinks I don't know, but his poor job performance and blood shot eyes give it away
Anyway. The UPS guy is just as much of a stoner like I said, and he told my stoner employee about an opening driving lifts at the UPS distribution center near by. I guess my guy thinks he has an "in" at the company. Well my stoner must have put my email address instead of his on the resume because I just got an email from UPS thanking me for my resume, but the email was addressed to him.
What do you think? Should I fire this guy? I already had a meeting telling him he's not a good fit, but unfortunately I don't even have a monkey that can drive the lifts right now.

Wait, because he gets during working hour. You should make all your employees go through a drug test. You can't just fire someone because you assume they are getting high because your employee comes back with blood shot eyes.

As for firing him because he sent out a resume? This isn't medieval Europe. Employees have the right to find other opportunities and seek other employment without being terminated for it. This is America, and your employee isn't a slave or a serf.
As for having a lift operator, find someone to teach you how to run it. Then hire someone who is actually skilled at it. Find time to practice after work so your staff won't know you are clueless on a lift.
(I actually ran my forks through an adjacent office the first time I got on one of my old lifts. Apparently my operator was so skilled that he could run it with bad brakes. I can't tell you how embarrassing it is to poke a hole in the wall and through someones desk. (At least I owned both)).
(Also why I suggest practicing after hours. There was a lot of employee grinning going on for weeks after).
