Prayer Request Thread.

1,940 15 July 29, 2004 at 01:56 PM
I'm changin my post now since my papaw is home and feeling better now. This thread is for anyone to use and post their own requests. Lux took my post from another thread and made this a separate thread just for that reason. Please do not hesitate to make requests cause you might be surprised at the support you will get from the loungers!!

Here is my original request...
Sorry I know this is off-topic but there seem to be some religious people in here right now.

Please say a prayer for my grandfather cause my mom just called and said he just called her and she is taking him to the emergency room. He is having pains (chest, I believe). It scares me cause he had a heart attack last summer and then a 5 bypass surgery. So now I'm heading to meet them at the hospital. Thanks!

I heart my Papaw!

I don't check this thread often, because I'm not the praying kind. That said, I will keep my best thoughts for you and your Bella. hug

Brian, you are a great son, it doesn't matter how far away you are. Your mom and dad know that. Feeling helpless has got to make this time for you infinitely worse, but know that prayer is a powerful thing. You aren't doing nothing, b/c of you a lot of people are praying for your dad and the rest of your family. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. hug

Please keep my father in your prayers also. He has to see a kidney specialist right away according to one of his Drs. He might have kidney damage due to either diabetes or a medicine that was supposed to be helping his diabetes. Frown

Thank you.

I'm the baby of the family...he's 76. He has always been in great shape (big time athlete through school and college...kept active all of his life). His wife is sucking the life out of him. (not in a good way...not feeling like joking right now.)

Thanks. He has one beloved dog and 2 of his wife's dogs...one os no wblind and she goes off to "show houses at open house events...BS" and he's suck there all the time saddled with the dogs. His dog is very old now and I think he sees the end of his one good thing in life fading away...all of the money he worked for is going very quickly.. He's just giving up. Many of his old college and HS friends have died...some of the closer ones more recently.

I seriously think that when his dog goes...he will shortly thereafter. Frown

That seriously sucks, Jane hug It's crappy that he can't just kick back and enjoy life with a wife who's there for him instead of what's going on. When does he see the kidney specialist?

I think on Monday but he figures it will take weeks to get results of whatever tests they run. I hope not.
