I'm changin my post now since my papaw is home and feeling better now. This thread is for anyone to use and post their own requests. Lux took my post from another thread and made this a separate thread just for that reason. Please do not hesitate to make requests cause you might be surprised at the support you will get from the loungers!!

Sorry I know this is off-topic but there seem to be some religious people in here right now.
Please say a prayer for my grandfather cause my mom just called and said he just called her and she is taking him to the emergency room. He is having pains (chest, I believe). It scares me cause he had a heart attack last summer and then a 5 bypass surgery. So now I'm heading to meet them at the hospital. Thanks!

I had misunderstood. It wasn't the fall that hurt him, he had some sort of brain hemorrhage or something and he fell from that. (I just got off the phone with my mom again). He was on blood thinners and whatever it is in his brain won't stop bleeding.
When my aunt found him she tried to get him into the bedroom and he was throwing up again while she called 911. From what I can gather, he was already unconscious by the time they got there.
She told me they've called in a preacher for his last rights. They're doing another scan but they don't think it will show anything different. My cousin should be getting there about now. I'm glad that my aunt has someone there with her now.
I missed seeing them by a Day. I wish I had stayed in Indiana one day longer. I guess that wouldn't change anything now but still.
I'm praying for my uncle but at this point, as much as I hate to say it, I think it's my aunt and cousin and the rest of his family (he's got kids from his first wife, grand kids, parents still alive) that need prayers for strength and comfort right now. Especially my aunt.

I've been sitting here praying for him...and it's hard because I don't know if he's already passed away. As of this evening he was still alive but if he died after that I don't think they would probably call us until tomorrow. I dread each time my mom has called today because I think she's going to say "Shannon, Uncle Don passed away."
It's just so hard to think of him lying there like that, on a ventilator and all. He's this huuge tall guy, Scottish decent, deep voice, used to play football for Notre Dame..he just seems so strong. From what I gather it sounds like he could stay alive but it would just be the machines keeping him alive. I don't know if he is brain dead or not...but it seems as though the machines will keep him alive until my aunt says "Ok, you can pull the plug." I dread, for her, that moment.
The thing is..while I was up in indiana she was having some tests done on her heart because they thought something was wrong..and before I left I found out that the tests had all come back with good results. She was so happy and relieved...little did she know that just 3 weeks later this would happen. I wanted to call her and talk to her but my grandparents said that probably wouldn't be a good idea right now. I can totally understand that. I emailed her, in case she's checking, which she probably isn't...just letting her know I'm praying for them all and if she needs anything..
My big strong Uncle Don passed away about an hour and a half ago. They ended up taking him off the ventilators and the Dr. said afterward that even if they hadn't he wouldn't have lived more than 45 minutes with it. (I guess they could tell by how quickly he died or something, I'm not sure).
My Aunt and Cousin will be flying back up to PA from FL and he will be buried in PA. I'm not entirely sure when the funeral is. Sometimes you have to wonder wtf the purpose of prayers are for and where are the miracles we hope for.
With that said, my aunt and cousin and his kids from his first marriage could really use prayers for strength and comfort right now. Thanks.
