I'm changin my post now since my papaw is home and feeling better now. This thread is for anyone to use and post their own requests. Lux took my post from another thread and made this a separate thread just for that reason. Please do not hesitate to make requests cause you might be surprised at the support you will get from the loungers!!




Here is my original request...
Sorry I know this is off-topic but there seem to be some religious people in here right now.

Please say a prayer for my grandfather cause my mom just called and said he just called her and she is taking him to the emergency room. He is having pains (chest, I believe). It scares me cause he had a heart attack last summer and then a 5 bypass surgery. So now I'm heading to meet them at the hospital. Thanks!

I figured they would keep him for a few days. It's really helpful to you to observe how the nurses help him and for wound care. I think the length of the stay is as much for the care givers as the patient! Smilie

We were lucky in that we were able to borrowmy FIL's lift recliner for DH to get up and down. I think you can rent them. He used it for about a week, just until a lot of the soreness had gone away.

I will continue prayers for both of you. let us know how he's doing. hug

I used to work with him back in MI and he's been in the hospital for the last few days. He's diabetic and somehow his colon leaked bacteria into his system and he's pretty badly off right now.

Certainly will. I had a friend who's colon burst a few years ago and it was rough going. She came through with flying colors. It's amazing at the tools her drs. used to heal her.

My DH is still in hosp. He is having issues eating and having BM's, so they wouldn't let him out yet. Frown Been here since Tuesday and hope to go home Sunday so need Pray

My beautiful mother passed away in her sleep early this morning. Unexpectedly...

My dad is of course devastated..she was his life..they had a very complicated relationship...but he loved her totally...he has heart trouble before and we fear the stress will make it worse...

Thank you all for your prayers and support...you have no idea what this site means to me.
